Der grosste Abnehmer deutscher Maschinenbauprodukte ist hierbei China, aufgrund ihrer massiv expandierenden Volkswirtschaft. Mit 8 % Umsatzanteil ist China der zweitwichtigste Handelspartner deutscher Maschinenbauer.
