One of television's most critically acclaimed programmes, The Wire addresses the seedy side of Baltimore’s finest, looking into money, drugs, politics and murder. Told from the point of view of both the police and their targets, the series captures a universe of subterfuge and surveillance, where easy distinctions between good and evil, and crime and punishment, are challenged at every turn. A study on urban life in one of America’s toughest cities, each season of The Wire has focused on a different aspect of Baltimore, starting with the police force and the drug trade, then moving on to City Hall, the education system and concluding with the media.
David Oyelowo stars in this American drama directed by Ava DuVernay. Based on the Selma to Montgomery marches of 1965 that led to the passing of the Voting Rights Act, the film follows the story of James Bevel (Common), Hosea Williams (Wendell Pierce) and Martin Luther King Jr (Oyelowo) as they campaigned for their right to vote. As Luther King Jr led hundreds of like-minded people along the 54-mile highway from Selma to the Alabama state capital of Montgomery, they were met with violent conflict and brutal opposition and had to fight their way through to simply claim what was rightfully theirs. The cast also includes Cuba Gooding Jr, Tom Wilkinson and Oprah Winfrey. The film won an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Original Song.
At the ages of 24 and 25 years old, we lost two of hip hop's most influential and talented voices in eerily similar ways. Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G were once two friends making their way through the hip-hop industry until a misunderstanding drove a wedge between the two rappers. On September 7, 1996, Tupac was shot in a drive-by shooting. Just 6 months later, Notorious B.I.G was fatally shot in a drive-by in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997. Many theories surround their tragic deaths, however, their murders still remain unsolved. Now, over 20 years after the death of these two icons, the 10-episode drama series Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. takes a deeper look into the LAPD investigations of these murders and the detectives put in charge of solving the case. Emmy Winner Anthony Hemingway (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story) serves as director and executive producer, alongside creator Kyle Long and executive producer Mark Taylor. The series goes beyond the headlines to explore the complicated friendship between these two icons, delving into a culture that both defined them and was forever changed in the wake of their untimely deaths. In seeking the truth behind the conspiracies, the one question that begs to be answered is: how can a case this famous still be unsolved?

As Pryce's power and status grows, he finds himself once again making the headlines but this time for being caught having an affair with a married woman. Can Pryce fight off the unwanted media attention to achieve his goal of running for senate?
