Gin-Ryu Things Considered takes place a year after the events of Gin-Ryu Vigilant Effort. Gin-Ryu gets donated to the Detroit Institute of Arts for their new samurai exhibit. When preparing the sword for the exhibit the curator in charge is attacked and it is stolen by a street gang. Meanwhile a monk from the Japanese temple, where Gin-Ryu was originally stolen, gets closer to getting his hands on the sword in hopes of returning it to where it belongs. The gang leader attempts to use Gin-Ryu to rally what's left of his members, in preparation for the street war brewing between to two largest gangs.
