Thomas Hengelbrock conducts the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester in this 2017 concert given to celebrate the opening of their new residence, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. Featuring performances of works by Benjamin Britten, Olivier Messiaen and Jacob Praetorius, the concert invites soloists Philippe Jaroussky, Hanna-Elisabeth Müller, Wiebke Lehmkuhl, Pavol Breslik and Bryn Terfel to perform alongside the orchestra in this landmark concert in the orchestra's career.

Revival of C.P.E. Bach's 1786 charity concert, recorded at the Konzerthaus Berlin and featuring works by the composer, as well as his father J.S. Bach and Handel. Hans-Christoph Rademann conducts the RIAS Kammerchor and the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin. The concert also features vocalists Christina Landshamer, Wiebke Lehmkuhl, Lothar Odinius and Thomas E. Bauer.
