Ich hatte leider nur Zeit, einen Blick, in die Neue Welt zu werfen, und was ich im Flug, in muhsam erhaschten Pausen zwischen harter, anstregender Arbeit niedergeschrieben, das konnten naturlich nur Augenblicksbilder sein. Doch auch Augenblicksbilder sind ja nicht ganz ohne Bedeutung. Und je rascher sie entstehen, desto besser sollen sie manchmal sein.
