Es will zum Verstehen geowissenschaftlicher Texte beitragen und ist zugleich ein wichtiger Studienbegleiter fur angehende Geowissenschaftler. Die 13. Auflage wurde vollstandig uberarbeitet und neugestaltet. Die Begriffe wurden konsequent im Sinne der aktuell gultigen Theorie der Plattentektonik erlautert, wobei alte, uberkommene Begriffe (wie z.
