Thomas Mann and RJ Cyler star in this coming-of-age drama directed
by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon. Greg and Earl (Mann and Cyler) are high
school students who spend their time making their own versions of
classic movies. Greg makes it his high school purpose to not belong
to any one group, but to have a small role to play in each and
every clique. When Greg's mother (Connie Britton) tells him that a
girl from his class, Rachel (Olivia Cook), has been diagnosed with
leukemia, she convinces her son to pay her a friendly visit. As
Greg tries to get to know Rachel and provide her with a comforting
shoulder to cry on, the two end up forming a unique bond of
friendship and provide each other with much-needed love and
affection.
The Caribbean island of St James in the 1980s should have been
paradise. Instead the post-independence rulers turned it into a
perverted and corrupt private fiefdom. The US would not act because
its Government is anti-communist and American privateers wanted to
keep it that way. Britain didn't care enough to intervene
officially. The disgusting practices of the Prime Minister and his
family were too much to ignore, though. Philip Goshawk was sent to
try to find a solution. In this atmospheric political thriller
James Eno catches the dark mood just beneath the surface glamour of
islands in the sun.
Seeking the Spoils is a fast-moving thriller from James Eno that
contrasts the raw beauty of Scotland with the machinations of the
European Parliament. Young MEP Seona Mackenzie and New York Times
journalist Gaynor Schultz finds themselves in a battle to save the
landscape from the combined threat of corporate greed and political
corruption.

This book explores global forms of indigenous communication and
their connections with new and digital media. With fresh and
original insights, the book transcends the confines of regional
analysis to investigate similarities, parallels, and differences
present in indigenous communication practices around the world.
Through a systematic classification of these diverse methods,
including music, myths, iconography, visual, institutional, and
axiomatic communication, the author draws comparisons between
geographically and historically disparate contexts. Indigenous
Communication provides a rigorous conceptual clarification of
indigenous forms of communication, both showcasing their various
manifestations, and illuminating their relevance and transformative
potential in the digital age.
