Kevin James returns to work as everyone's favourite mall cop in the sequel to the 2009 comedy. When clumsy, overweight security guard Paul Blart (James) travels to Las Vegas with his daughter Maya (Raini Rodriguez) to attend the annual Security Guard Conference, he inadvertently discovers that a heist is being planned by master criminal Vincent (Neal McDonough). As the security team of the Las Vegas hotels refuse to take the threat seriously, Blart takes it upon himself to find the crooks and catch them in the act, proving to himself and everyone around him that he's still got what it takes to be a good security guard.

Raymond John Chambers was born just over a century ago on 16
November 1917. It is more than fifty years since his first classic,
Accounting, Evaluation and Economic Behavior, was published, more
than forty since Securities and Obscurities: Reform of the Law of
Company Accounts (republished in 1980 as Accounting in Disarray)
and over twenty since the unique An Accounting Thesaurus: Five
Hundred Years of Accounting. They are drawn upon extensively in
this biography of Chambers' intellectual contributions, as are
other of his published works. Importantly, we also analyze archival
correspondence not previously examined. While Chambers provided
several bibliographical summaries of his work, without the benefits
of reviewing and interspersing the text with correspondence
materials from the Chambers Archive this study would lack an
appreciation of the impact of his early childhood, and nuances
related to his practical (including numerous consultancies) and
academic experiences. The 'semi-biographical narrative' codifies
article and editorial length exercises by the authors drawing on
parts of the archive related to theory development, measurement and
communication. Other parts are also examined. This allows us to
respond to those critics who claim his reforms were naive. They
further reveal a man of theory and practice, whose theoretical
ideas were solidly grounded on observations from his myriad
interests and experiences. Many of his practical experiences have
not been examined previously. This approach and the first
book-length biography differentiates this work from earlier
analyses of Chambers' contribution to the accounting literature. We
provide evidence to support the continued push for the reforms he
proposed to accepted accounting thought and practice to ensure
accounting is the serviceable technology so admired by Pacioli, Da
Vinci and many other Renaissance pioneers. It will be of interest
to researchers, educators, practitioners and regulators alike.
Jayme Tiomno (1920-2011) was one of the most influential Brazilian
physicists of the 20th century, interacting with many of the
renowned physicists of his time, including John Wheeler and Richard
Feynman, Eugene Wigner, Chen Ning Yang, David Bohm, Murray
Gell-Mann, Remo Ruffini, Abdus Salam, and many others. This
biography tells the sometimes romantic, often discouraging but
finally optimistic story of a dedicated scientist and educator from
a developing country who made important contributions to particle
physics, gravitation, cosmology and field theory, and to the
advancement of science and of scientific education, in many
institutions in Brazil and elsewhere. Drawing on unpublished
documents from archives in Brazil and the US as well as private
sources, the book traces Tiomno's long life, following his role in
the establishment of various research facilities and his
tribulations during the Brazilian military dictatorship. It
presents a story of progress and setbacks in advancing science in
Brazil and beyond, and of the persistence and dedication of a
talented physicist who spent his life in search of scientific
truth.
This volume is dedicated to the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO),
which was launched 11 February 2010. The articles focus on the
spacecraft and its instruments: the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly
(AIA), the Extreme Ultraviolet Variability Experiment (EVE), and
the Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager (HMI). Articles within also
describe calibration results and data processing pipelines that are
critical to understanding the data and products, concluding with a
description of the successful Education and Public Outreach
activities. This book is geared towards anyone interested in using
the unprecedented data from SDO, whether for fundamental
heliophysics research, space weather modeling and forecasting, or
educational purposes. Previously published in Solar Physics
journal, Vol. 275/1-2, 2012. Selected articles in this book are
published open access under a CC BY-NC 2.5 license at

Buddy movie taken to extremes. New York firefighters Chuck Levine
(Adam Sandler) and Larry Valentine (Kevin James) live different
lives. Whilst Chuck is a self-confessed lothario out for a good
time, Larry is a widower struggling to keep a regular home life for
the sake of his two young children. With Larry refusing to take up
life as a single parent and deal with his loss, he forgets to
change the primary beneficiary of his pension from his wife to his
children before the cut-off date, which would financially protect
them in the event of a work injury. The only solution is to get
married again, but Larry decides there's no other woman he could
trust enough with his children's future. During a routine search of
a burning house, Larry saves Chuck's life in an accident and Chuck
is forever indebted to his best mate as they awake in hospital.
Evaluating his predicament whilst in his sick bed, Larry finds an
article about a same-sex domestic partnership and realises Chuck
could pay his debt quicker than anticipated! After wearing Chuck
down, they eventually get hitched in a bizarre Las Vegas wedding
chapel and just when they settle in to a scene of same-sex domestic
bliss for the sake of the kids, they soon realise that their gay
union is going to be under serious scrutiny from surprise inspector
Clinton Fitzer (Steve Buscemi), who is always ready to catch out
straight guys cheating the system.

Including several images in various media to help paint a fuller
picture of Howells's time and place. A rich selection of
correspondence to and from Howells, some material from his
notebooks, and a section detailing his changes to two specific
controversial passages from the novel, give a sense of the writer
at work.
We had a jubilant fortnight in working the particulars of these
things out. It was not possible for Clemens to write like anybody
else, but I could very easily write like Clemens, and we took the
play scene and scene about, quite secure of coming out in
temperamental agreement. The characters remained for the most part
his, and I varied them only to make them more like his than, if
possible, he could.
"Main-Travelled Roads" contains eleven stories in this expanded and
revised 1922 edition of an undisputed American classic. "Under the
Lion's Paw" shows an honest, hard-working farmer victimized by a
greedy landlord. Equally powerful is the semi-autobiographical "Up
the Coolly," concerning a successful son who returns from the East
to find his mother and brother trapped on a poor farm, defeated in
spite of their best efforts. "Mrs. Ripley's Trip" is a tender story
of an elderly couple settled in their frugal country ways, with the
wife determined to realize her dream of revisiting childhood
scenes. Although Garland paints no pretty pictures, he offers
exhilarating moments in the lives of these farm people and never
ignores the strength of individual will. William Dean Howells's
introduction to the 1922 edition has been retained.

intra-ocular lenses, the use of which has become more widespread
since the last edition. Introductory chapters on basic principles
such as theatre equipment and anaesthesia are followed by chapters
devoted to specific procedures such as cataract surgery, eyelid
surgery and enucleation. Also included are chapters on paediatric
surgery and trauma. Thoroughly revised and updated, Eye Surgery in
Hot Climates Fourth Edition continues to provide relevant,
practical advice for health care providers caring for eye patients
in nations where blindness and visual impairment remain prevalent.
All chapters revised and updated to reflect latest best practice
Includes two completely new chapters on surgical training and
paediatric surgery Includes DVD featuring instructional videos of
