Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not
used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad
quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are
images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to
keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the
original artefact. Although occasionally there may be certain

Written with Lead offers a compelling narrative history of
twenty-one tragic episodes in American history-all involving
firearms, heroes, and the ongoing public fascination with guns and
gunfighters. Spotlighting events such as the St. Valentine's Day
Massacre and the bloody ambush of Bonnie and Clyde, and featuring
three new essays (including one on the siege at Waco), Weir
explores the history, culture, and mythology of guns in surprising
and unpredictable ways.
The twentieth century produced scores of such conflicts, whether as
sideshows of the world wars or as the main events in wars of
revolution or liberation. "Guerrilla Warfare" examines twenty-one
of these conflicts, shedding light on the remarkable capabilities
of unconventional fighters to outlast and defeat their enemies.
"Guerrilla Warfare" covers a century of unconventional fighters at
war including: succinct accounts of 21 guerrilla conflicts in the
twentieth century; the exploits of men like Lawrence of Arabia,
Orde Wingate, Mao Zedong, and Che Guevera; the American hunt for
Pancho Villa; Mao versus Chiang in the Chinese Civil War; the
showdown at Dien Bien Phu in 1954; France's long war in Algeria;
the Siege of Khe Sanh in the Vietnam War; the Afgan-Soviet War from
1979 to 1989; and, more.
ASSIGNMENT: UFO There are men who have greatness thrust upon them,
men who are selected - chosen - to go beyond the norm, to see
beyond the everyday. It's only in an instant that we sometimes have
a chance to make up our mind - do we stay or do we go? If we were
invited to join our interstellar cousins, would we instantly make
our minds up and decide to travel aboard an unidentified object?
These must be the words that sprang up in the mind of the author as
we go through his untampered and unedited words. Do your own
research, collect your own evidence and draw your own conclusions
because the truth is waiting to be found.
UFOS are monitoring. Untampered, unedited documentation outlining
the true extent of the US Government's involvement in both the
documentation and interaction with Unidentified Flying Objects,
sightings of craft and encounters with their interstellar
occupants. Blue Book was a Government dossier that remained open
for only as long as the public got to know about it, and then
mysteriously all of a sudden it was a shut file, with many
questions remaining unanswered. Step into the pages of a true eye-
witness account; some would say primitive, others would say
completely that this is as authentic as they come. You're about to
be shown one more missing piece of the UFO puzzle. Are you capable
of separating the truth from fiction? What is the author REALLY
trying to tell us from his accounts? Do your own research, collect
your own evidence and draw your own conclusions.
