Giving you some, not all, of the information that you need to know.
These are some prerequisites for a successful person to get to
heaven; that is where you want to go, isn't it? As I said, this is
some of the information, it is now your responsibility to read and
study to find the rest of it. The awesome choice is yours whether
or not you are going to believe this report.
Many people have said that when a person gets born again, although
they use the word saved, he is automatically filled with the Holy
Spirit. I have even heard some Pentecostal preachers say that this
is true and, if they want, they can ask God for their prayer
language. I don't know where they got that idea because there is
nothing in the Bible to back either of those statements. In this
book I quoted the Bible and have given you reasons for the Holy
Spirit baptism; but you must make the ultimate decision whether
it's necessary for you or not.
For many years there has been an idea going around the churches
that once a person confesses Jesus as Lord that person is saved,
and once they are saved, they are always saved. I am the
inquisitive type, so I asked many pastors about this, and that is
the answer that I would normally get; once you are saved you are
saved forever. Well, that just did not set well with me, so I did
some studying and found out why. I have talked to some teachers and
church administrators, such as those from ORU and Victory Christian
Center, and they backed what I found in the Bible; that the 'once
saved, always saved' idea is misinformed hogwash. I did a study
about this subject because that's what I do and I found absolutely
nothing that backs up that hogwash. On the other had, I found a
plethora of information about the way God meant it to be; salvation
is a reward for daily obedience in doing what Jesus did and said.
Now, after you have read this book and understood these Scriptures
you have a choice to make. You can either go back to the hokey idea
of 'once saved, always save, ' which is basically an excuse for not
compliance, or you can change.
The Set Apart Ones is the band to listen and pay attention to if
you will hear only one and none other. George had answered a call
of God to step out as an evangelist, and he and the band are to do
their work in Gorga, Conchton, their state and to the uttermost
parts of the world. High school is over and the band is going to
college. The band, which started with five men at Our School, is
now seven men and is still growing and expanding. The second book
in the Musical Warriors series.
Five young men, all seniors in high school, start a band and rock
their world. The leader of the band was flunking out of school; but
he ends the year graduating with high honors. How can this happen?
The second in the band was the wimp of the school; but he stands up
to the worst bully of the school. How do these things happen? Read
about the changed lives of these five young men and how, through
music, they change the lives of many. This is the first in the
Musical Warriors series. Musical Warriors: The Beginnings is a fun
book about high school teenagers. The main characters in the book
are all musically inclined. Five of them form a band call The Set
Apart Ones and they are awesome. Read and enjoy and find out what
transpires.
