George P. Cosmatos directs this Western starring Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer. Hoping for a more prosperous lifestyle, retired lawman Wyatt Earp (Russell) moves to Tombstone, Arizona, where he meets up with his friend Doc Holliday (Kilmer). The duo, along with Earp's brothers, soon incur the wrath of a notorious gang of outlaws known as The Cowboys which ultimately leads to the infamous showdown at the O.K. Corral. When The Cowboys retaliate by attacking two of his brothers, killing one of them, Earp becomes even more determined to seek justice.

Stacy Keach and Faye Dunaway star in this western depicting the legendary gunfight at the O.K. Corral. Doc Holliday (Keach) travels with Kate Elder (Dunaway), whose services he won in a poker game, to the town of Tombstone in Cochise County to visit his old friend Wyatt Earp (Harris Yulin). Upon arrival, they find the election campaign in full swing with Sheriff Wyatt standing as a candidate. But the powerful gang of cowboys in the Clanton family strongly object to his bid and the two warring factions decide to meet at the O.K. Corral to settle their differences in a shoot-out to the death.

The Gunfight at the O.K. Corral took place at October 26, 1881 in the famous Tombstone. It was fought between Ike Clanton, Billy Clanton, Billy Claiborne, Tom McLaury and Frank McLaury at one side and the lawmen Virgil Earp, Morgan Earp, Wyatt Earp and the dentist Doc Holliday at the other side. Wyatt Earp was accused of murder twice and the courts released him twice. Wyatt Earp narrates in this authentic report the gunfight from his own point of view.
