Polish comedy drama written and directed by Wojciech Marczewski. Set during the latter days of Poland's communist regime in the 1980s, the film centres around a lonely government censor (Janusz Gajos). When actors refuse to speak their lines during a screening of the romantic drama 'Daybreak', the censor is called across the street to restore order to the Liberty Cinema. After he fails, top communist officials are brought in to silence the errant actors, but will they be able to succeed?

She takes him to a vet, gets him patched up, then tries to return him to his owner. It turns out that the owner is Joseph Kern (Jean-Louis Trintignant), a retired judge who lives alone and listens in on his neighbours' telephone conversations. Valentine and Joseph slowly become friends; meanwhile, one of Joseph's neighbours cheats on her boyfriend, a young law student who will have an important effect on Valentine's life.

Three Colours White, a very funny and ironic black comedy, is the second film in Krzysztof Kieslowski's acclaimed trilogy based on the three ideals of the French Revolution.

Karol, a Polish hairdresser, is divorced by his beautiful French wife Dominique and thrown onto the streets of Paris, penniless and with no passport. All seems lost until he meets a fellow Pole who ingeniously smuggles Karol back to Warsaw in a suitcase. Once there, Karol is determined to take revenge against his ex-wife.

He deals successfully on the black market until he has enough money to put his plan into action, but he hasn't counted on love getting in the way of its perfect execution.
