'Grapefruit Season' is the long awaited fifth studio album from James Vincent McMorrow. Produced by James alongside fellow genre-disruptors Paul Epworth, Kenny Beats, Lil Silva and Patrick Wimberly (Chairlift), the album was recorded between London, Los Angeles and Dublin largely before the COVID-19 pandemic struck. It embraces the fact that life is chaos, and the idea of growing up but feeling none the wiser.

11 Put Aside was compiled from Andrew McLellan's solo work as Cured Pink, and is a critical precursor to the project's current incarnation as a four-piece band. Over the course of the record Cured Pink channels the same anxious energy of Cromagnon's sole LP for ESP Disk (1969) and shoves it onto the dancefloor. The B-side was recovered from destructive recording sessions across Indonesia, deep within Cured Pink's solo phase (2011). 'Sydney; Malang; Brisbane; Bandung; Jogjakarta' is a devastating journey that features the drumming of Senyawa frontman, Rully Shabara, and recorded material from Vacant Valley boss, Peter Bramley. With very few releases Cured Pink owns a specific Australian sound that references the gamut of avant-rock, dance music and power electronics. But more than this, '11 Put Aside is a singular piece of the puzzle that makes up Brisbane's unhinged and isolated scene.

Baby Queen grew up in Durban, South Africa, and moved to London aged 18. It was at this time, as she joined rock bands, fell in love and headfirst into the city's party scene, that the experiences that informed her new musical era unfolded. They're bittersweet and brilliant. 'It's important to be able to capture a full range of emotion', she says of the songs on 'The Yearbook'. 'I want the listener to feel like they're on the top of a London bus, travelling through a city they've moved to for the very first time, seeing the world through new eyes'. 'It's an American coming-of-age film', she says of the final project's concept. 'It feels confusing, happy, free, lonely. all of these things you go through when you are growing up'.

Debut studio album by the Scottish folk rock band. 'Hope St.' is a timeless, inspired 12-song collection, drawing from many corners of the musical universe - the early R&B of Howlin' Wolf, the funk and disco of Sly & The Family Stone, the 21st century blues of The Black Keys and the Laurel Canyon vibes of Crosby, Nash, Stills and Young. An infectious, energetic and graceful piece of work from a band who were still in their early twenties, it's loaded with optimism and melancholy in equal measure.
