The Spectra Silicone Valve fits onto all the Spectra breast pumps. It is made out of silicone. This tiny part creates the suction in your breast pump. If it develops a hole or tear, it needs to be replaced. Each pack consists of two silicone valves.

These silicone valves fit in the bottom of your flange, between the flange and the milk collection bottle. They play a crucial role in maintaining your pump’s suction. A small tear in valve may lead to your pump losing suction. For this reason they should ideally be replaced every 3 months.

Please note that these valves are meant for the Spectra Handsfree Cups and are not compatible with the normal Breast Shield Sets that came with your pump.
