Sublimation paper is a special printing paper that absorbs and retains
ink. When placed on a blank surface (such as a T-shirt, vinyl sheet,
mouse pad, or other material) and heated, the sublimation paper will
release ink onto the material. This process allows you to print
indirectly on all different materials and products.
Printing:
Mirror the image you would like to sublimate. Print mirror image with a
sublimation ink printer. For best results use use an inkjet
printer with sublimation ink to print on the white side of the
sublimation paper.
Transfer directions:
For shirts and materials - for best results, sublimate on polycotton
materials. Pre-heat press for 10 seconds. Place image on the desired
area, smooth out the surface and make final alignments. Press for 90
seconds at 190 degrees Celcius. Peel off the printed sheet immediately
after press cycl has completed.
For mugs and ceramics - always ensure that the item you would like to
use is suitable and prepared for sublimation printing. Pre-heat the mug
press with an old mug inside until it reaches 180 degrees Celcius.
Place image on the desired area and align. Press for 200 seconds at 180
degrees Celcius. Peel off the printed sheet immediately after press
cycle has been completed. Place mug in cold water to prevent smudging.
