Daler-Rowney FW Ink is an acrylic pigment-based, water-resistant ink with a high degree of lightfastness and intermixability. FW Acrylic Inks can be used straight out of the dropper, or diluted to achieve the most subtle of tones, very similar in character to watercolour. Such washes will dry to a water-resistant film on virtually all surfaces (please prepare your surface and test on a small area in advance) and successive layers of colour can be laid over. FW Acrylic Inks are versatile. FW inks can be applied using traditional brushes, but also work well through airbrushes, technical pens, and paint markers making them ideal for producing technical illustrations and finely worked drawings. The expressive fluidity of acrylic inks is suitable for use by fine artists, illustrators, graphic designers, calligraphers, decorative artists and hobbyists. Made in England. Daler-Rowney is particularly proud to continue the long heritage of manufacturing FW Acrylic Inks in the United Kingdom, based in the South of England, in Bracknell.

Fast drying, water resistent & transparent, this allows the overlaying of different colours for attractive optical colour mixtures. All the colours are water resistant except Liquid Indian Ink Gold and Silver. They are formulated from a series of soluble dyes in a superior shellac solution. These inks can be applied with brush, dip pen or airbrush and are widely used by designers, calligraphers and artists as well as illustrators. The colours can be easily diluted with water to reduce the strength of the colour or to increase it's transparency. Distilled water must be used as tap water causes the dye to separate from the binder.
