The result is a high-covering and quick-drying acrylic lacquer. Montana GOLD allows for a new level of ease and control when painting with spray cans, with no cracking or colour bleaching. The low pressure system allows perfect handling. The Montana Level Caps were precisely developed for the new low pressure system, allowing even and clean lines with the highest efficiency and accuracy. Spray widths from 0.4cm up to 25cm can be achieved depending on the users skill and experience. The lacquer of the Montana GOLD assures excellent longevity. There is no bleaching - the colour of the lacquer remains bright and full with lasting saturation and sheen. Premium colours are flexible and exceptionally durable and permit prolonged exposure to weather without fading or losing their brilliance. Premium colours have been formulated with micronized, permanent pigments and an extremely resistant, exterior grade hybrid resin-polyurethane base, which withstands impacts, resists chipping and cracking, as well as direct exposure to heat and outdoor elements without cracking or fading, and is fuel residue proof up to a least 35% Nitro. AV Premium colours have superior flow, they are self-levelling and brush on with exceptional ease. For airbrushing, the colours can be used directly from the bottle when using a nozzle size 0,3. For the metallic colours some dilution might be necessary, and for smaller nozzles (O.2mm or less) the use of the Reducer (62.068) may be required. The recommended compressor setting is 30-60psi (2-4 bar). The range consists of 20 bright opaque colours, 23 dazzling metallics and fluorescents, and 9 shimmering transparent Candy Colours. All colours are as suitable for detail work as for covering large surfaces and can be applied by brush as well as by airbrush. Jackson’s Alcohol Inks are fast-drying, alcohol-based inks. They are highly saturated and produce vibrant effects on a variety of porous and non-porous surfaces. Popular surfaces include Yupo paper, Jackson's gesso panels, as well as glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, stone, resin, clay, and more.

You can also use Jackson’s Alcohol Inks for calligraphy work, faux finishing techniques, graphic and airbrush applications, as well as wood and leather staining.

Jackson’s Alcohol Inks are smudge-resistant and water-resistant when dry. As they are dye-based, artwork should be protected from sources of light to protect against fading. Once the colour dries it can be reworked with Jackson’s Blending Solution. This helps produce unique effects that can't be achieved with water-based mediums.

To protect works made with alcohol inks, we recommend several coats of a UV protectant, such as Krylon Kamar Varnish. Allow at least 24 hours or more for best results.

When cleaning brushes used with Jackson’s Alcohol Inks, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or a blending solution. Clean brushes before they have the chance to dry out.
