Made in finest Kolinsky sable of such generous specification that each brush equates to comparable brushes at a size larger. Thus the series 1 in size 12 is equivalent to a normal 14. This brush has a capacity to belly and hold colour, yet assume the finest of points. The ferrule is formed from cupro nickel with a beech handle, beautifully finished in black and identified by a distinctive gold ring at the tip.

A unique feature of squirrel is it's ability to hold huge amounts of colour, which is such a boon to watercolour artists working on a grand scale. By the use of traditional three-knot 'quill' binding, Pro arte are able to pack this particularly fine hair tightly enough to create a brush which gives a superb belly and provides a long, useful life.
