The inspiration

The inspiration
Yuzu’s invigorating scent evokes summer, but it is definitely a winter fruit able to resist cold… and lift one’s spirits. Yuzu is therefore the main ingredient of the "Yuzu-Yu", a hot bath very much liked by Japanese people on winter solstice because it is said to bring wealth and health.

The fragrance
Besides its cosmetic and antiseptic properties, this bath diffuses yuzu’s delicious zesty notes, here melted with bergamot and grapefruit, and sweetened by verbena, almond and musks.

The mysterious Bolivia... Part of the Ancient Incas Empire, it is
believed to be a chili pepper motherland. This hot fruit inspired Incas
myths and folktales. Revered as a deity, Ayar-Uchu, or «Brother Chili
Pepper», was one of the four brothers emerged at the inception of the
Incas world.

The inspiration
A former Portuguese colony and a hotspot of psychedelic enlightenment, Goa has a thousand faces, a thousand stories and a thousand traditions. Goa is India. Lalique honours both by perfuming homes with the warm, sacred scent of sandalwood.
