For universal primed canvases, the next step involves applying a coat of acrylic-bound titanium white paint to the canvas by means of a knife. Artfix linen is made from a strong, tightly woven extra fine grade fabric that is double sized to protect the material from the adverse effects of oil paints. Up to 6 layers of ground ensures an utterly flawless support surface.
