Science fiction is often considered a literature of futuristic
technology: fantastic warfare among the stars, or ruinous
apocalypse on Earth. In the middle of last century, a very
different theme suddenly blossomed. This was a fiction of mind
powers such as telepathy, precognition of the future,
teleportation, symbolic machines reacting to these mental forces
and perhaps life beyond death. Driving this explosion of paranormal
narratives was John W. Campbell, editor of Astounding Science
Fiction magazine, later renamed Analog. Almost single-handedly,
Campbell made "psience fiction" into a dominant movement. Until
now, no scholarly study has dealt specifically with this abrupt
shift of emphasis away from space travel, atomic weapons, robots,
and other once-imaginary technologies, and into the realm of the
paranormal treated as science. Literary critic Damien Broderick
surveys this long-ignored terrain, reading a series of influential
or characteristic psience fiction novels and short stories, from
the 1930s to now. This tour of the psychic fictional landscape is
framed by an informed discussion of the dynamics creating this
surge of interest in parapsychology, and its absorption into the
genre even as real-world military experiments in the paranormal
(the US Star Gate program) were being conducted in highly
classified secrecy.
The Believer is the weird and chilling true story of Dr. John Mack.
This eminent Harvard psychiatrist and Pulitzer Prize-winning
biographer risked his career to investigate the phenomenon of human
encounters with aliens and to give credibility to the stupefying
tales shared by people who were utterly convinced they had
happened. Nothing in Mack's four decades of psychiatry had prepared
him for the otherworldly accounts of a cross section of humanity
including young children who reported being taken against their
wills by alien beings. Over the course of his career his interest
in alien abduction grew from curiosity to wonder, ultimately
developing into a limitless, unwavering passion. Based on exclusive
access to Mack's archives, journals, and psychiatric notes and
interviews with his family and closest associates, The Believer
reveals the life and work of a man who explored the deepest of
scientific conundrums and further leads us to the hidden dimensions
and alternate realities that captivated Mack until the end of his
life.
For more than thirty years, Toronto psychic medium Carolyn Molnar
has been helping people whose friends and loved ones have crossed
over. By bringing these people proof of spirit evidence that life
continues past the transition we call death she has comforted
thousands of clients by showing them that their loved ones are
still with them. In this book, youll read positive, life-affirming
true stories about the emotions that touch us all. From the ghost
of a lost young boy to the mother who desperately wants to live
long enough to see her daughter graduate high school, to the
courageous young woman whose death is mourned by an entire
community, these healing stories and others will demonstrate that
even though we pass on, our love never dies.
Is our universe intelligently designed? What are the possibilities
of healing, transformation, and service? What is the Law of One?
After 19 years of research into the channeling phenomenon that
involved communications with members of the Confederation of
Planets in the Service of the One Infinite Creator, a group
consciousness called Ra, who had evolved on the planet Venus,
established contact with three dedicated seekers of truth to
explore these and other questions. Ra said that all people and all
of creation are One Being: the One Infinite Creator. They suggested
that the process of learning to love (awakening to the "Original
Thought") is studied via humanity's movement through all of time.
The Ra Material sessions conducted by these three individuals
examine the meaning of our cosmic existence and contain 106
transcripts of every conversation, including events leading up to
first contact, and, in Book V, commentary about the contact. This
40th-anniversary boxed set includes all five books in hard cover.
Book Three of the Law of One builds on the information presented in
Books One and Two, continuing the exploration of the nature and
balancing of the energy centers or chakras, sexual energy
transfers, healing, reincarnation, meditation, and Wanderers. The
nature of psychic prophecy is explored in Book Three, as are the
nature and ramifications of what are usually called psychic
attacks. A good deal of information is given on the principles of
ritual magic in general and white magic in particular, and a
beginning is made in the study of the archetypical mind, which is
the mind of the Logos and serves as a kind of blueprint for our
evolutionary process and which serves as the foundation concept for
each of our individual minds.
The second book in the series contains 143 additional quatrains
written and deciphered by Nostradamus himself. Dolores Cannon has
pierced the veil of the space/time continuum by her use of
regressive hypnosis, to bring us warnings of events to come.
Nostradamus emphasized that humanity could change the future if
they knew which of the multiple time-lines they were traveling on,
and what the results of the path were. Humanity is not powerless.
Through the power of informed minds much of the horror seen by
Nostradamus can be averted. These new revised editions of the
Conversations with Nostradamus trilogy contain updates of events
that have already occurred since the original printing in 1989.
Will the others also occur? Fasten your seatbelts, you're in for a
mind blowing ride with this one! You're about to take a flight into
a place where time doesn't exist. Where the famous quatrains are
decoded by no-other than The man Nostradamus himself. These two
volumes are an exciting journey into the realms of timeless and
metaphysical adventure. "Fabulous reading and extremely well
written." - Friends Review. This volume includes: More about the
rise and the location of the Anti-Christ, including his horoscope.
The correlation of 666 (the mark of the beast) and computers. More
about the third world war and what countries will be affected. How
AIDS was a planned disease by those in power, and when the cure
will be found. Dangerous new technology to control the weather and
earthquakes. Maps showing the portions of the continents that will
remain after the axis shift and the melting of polar icecaps.
Horoscopes estimating the date of the Earth shift, as based on
Nostradamus' quatrains. The role ofSpace Visitors during this time
of tribulation. A look at the world of future after the war and the
shift.

Book Four of the Law of One is the last of the books in the Law of
One series. Book Four explores in great detail the archetypical
mind which is the framework provided by our Logos or sun body to
aid each of us in the evolution of mind, body, and spirit. Tarot,
astrology, and ritual magic are three paths offering the study of
the archetypical mind, and in Book Four a study of that rich
resource is undertaken using the tarot, also uncovered on the
nature and purpose of the veil that we experience between the
conscious and the unconscious minds and the process of "forgetting"
that occurs during each incarnation in our third-density
experience. In Book Four the path of the adept becomes more clear
as Ra elucidates the adept's use of experience to balance its
energy centres and penetrate the veil of forgetting.
The Call of Intuition shows how integrating and balancing your
three inner guides intuition, instinct, and insight helps you
unleash your deepest creative wisdom and move forward with a
renewed zest for life. You will discover how to work with chakras,
crystals, mindfulness, spirit guides, prayers, and more as you
become attuned to the natural flow of universal energy. Author Kris
Franken teaches you how to consciously connect to intuition through
six steps: breathe, surrender, connect, trust, honour, and nourish.
Filled with practical, hands-on techniques and playful exercises,
this book is all about embracing life as an act of co-creation and
learning to let go of the compulsive desire for total control.
This is the first in-depth biography of this intriguing
sixteenth-century astrologer and physician whose book of
prophecies, "The Centuries", is claimed by many to have foretold
the Great Fire of London, the French Revolution, the rise of
Hitler, and other crucial historical events. In his superb study of
Nostradamus' life and times, Randi shows the extent to which
contemporary beliefs in magic and astrology adulterated
sixteenth-century science, and how Nostradamus used his skills as a
physician and poet to become a cherished counselor to the courts of
Europe. Finally, Randi exposes some of the tricks used by
Nostradamus to make his prophecies seem authentic, and the
rationalizations of his predictions by his followers through the
centuries. Four hundred years after his death, Nostradamus
continues to fascinate us. This is the first serious exploration of
this complex figure whose fame still echoes in our own time.
Many people around the world accept the possibility of telepathy or
clairvoyance. Very rarely, however, has anyone been able to
demonstrate these psychic faculties with enough accuracy and
reliability to produce significant results in repeated
experimentation. An exception to this was the Polish engineer and
industrialist Stefan Ossowiecki. Ossowiecki (1877?1944) is perhaps
the most gifted psychic ever to come under the scrutiny of
researchers. He demonstrated a range and quality of clairvoyance
that no one has exceeded, at least under experimental controls.
Equally important, he was eager to learn more about his talent and
allowed a variety of researchers to use him in experiments.
Anecdotal accounts of his talent abounded, but it was the
controlled observations of investigators in experiments conducted
in Paris and Warsaw that confirmed his gift. For the first time,
this book brings to English-speaking researchers and the public
detailed accounts of the crucial experiments carried out with
Ossowiecki, which produced compelling evidence of paranormal
cognition.
The paranormal derives from us on a daily basis. Shakespeare,
Tolstoy, Joyce, E.M. Forster, Ingmar Bergman, and Chesterton
understood this and made the paranormal essential to their
depiction of humanity. However mainstream studies of western
literature, culture and psychology deny the importance of psychic
phenomena in our lives. Freud himself recognized telepathy as a
daily occurrence to be explored in clinical work and established
principles for doing so but most of his followers have failed to
walk in his footsteps. Nor do psychoanalysts acknowledge the
parapsychological history of psychoanalysis including the findings
of the Mesmerists, Jung and Ferenczi or more contemporary
psychoanalysts such as Eisenbud . Anthropologists are unaware that
shamans developed sleight-of-hand techniques to facilitate psi
(that is psychic) phenomena nor do they appreciate the manner in
which tribal cultures integrated psychics into their societies. And
Western legal theory avoids psi as a causal agent, never addressing
its artificial construction of reality. Literary academicians
attribute the psychic discoveries of great masters to "poetic
license" rather than to accurate, understanding of our
parapsychological capacities. The author-a practicing senior
training psychoanalyst, a parapsychologist, and a lawyer familiar
with Navajo culture-enjoins us to recognize psi phenomena such as
telepathy, precognition and apparitions in our lives and to
integrate our understanding of them into psychoanalytic theory and
clinical work, literary studies, and anthropology. He investigates
psi as it expresses itself in dreams, unconscious dynamics, psychic
photography, and precognition and provides instances from his
clinical practice.

A psychic intuitive answers all the most common questions about
life after death, along with remarkable firsthand accounts
Based on his own amazing experiences of life between lives and
his numerous communications with those who have passed over, Barry
Eaton answers the questions about the spirit world that everyone is
longing to ask. He discusses what happens when someone dies: what
it feels like, what the tunnel experience is all about, and whether
there is any such thing as a life review. He also offers answers as
to why some people find it hard to leave places and loved ones
behind, how those who die in accidents and other sudden deaths
fare, and how our grief impacts those who have passed on. He
further explains how those who have passed over see time, why they
return to their soul families in spirit, whether they reincarnate,
and if so, what input they have in their life to come.
