Ever since Unicorn moved into the neighborhood, Goat has been
feeling out of sorts. Goat thought his bike was cool-until he saw
that Unicorn could "fly" to school Goat made marshmallow squares
that almost came out right, but Unicorn made it rain cupcakes
Unicorn is such a show-off, how can Goat compete? When Goat and
Unicorn share a piece of pizza, Goat learns that being a unicorn
might not be all it's cracked up to be. And when Unicorn shows his
admiration for Goat, it looks like the beginning of a beautiful
friendship.
For Clementine, spring is a really big deal. It's the time for
seeing her apple tree start to grow, for watching her friend
Margaret go crazy with spring cleaning, and for going on the school
trip to Plimoth Plantation. Clementine is ready for Ye Olden Times,
but she isn't so sure about surviving lunch there-the fourth
graders have strict rules about no eating sounds. (What "is"
snicking, anyway? ) If that wasn't enough, Clementine also faces
the challenges of learning Olive-language and surviving The Cloud
on Bus 7.
Hearing the pilgrim lady talk about why she made the long journey
from England makes Clementine think about rules. Who makes them,
and what do they mean to the people who have to live with them?
Today Clementine has to decide which rules are made to be broken.
Serafina's defeat of the Man in the Black Cloak has brought her out of the shadows and into the daylight realm of her home, Biltmore Estate. Every night she visits her mother in the forest, eager to learn the ways of the catamount. But Serafina finds herself caught between her two worlds: she's too wild for Biltmore's beautifully dressed ladies and formal customs, and too human to fully join her kin.
Late one night, Serafina encounters a strange and terrifying figure in the forest, and is attacked by the vicious wolfhounds that seem to be under his control. Even worse, she's convinced that the stranger was not alone, that he has sent his accomplice into Biltmore in disguise.
Someone is wreaking havoc at the estate. A mysterious series of attacks test Serafina's role as Biltmore's protector, culminating in a tragedy that tears Serafina's best friend and only ally, Braeden Vanderbilt, from her side. Heartbroken, she flees.
Deep in the forest, Serafina comes face-to-face with the evil infecting Biltmore--and discovers its reach is far greater than she'd ever imagined. All the humans and creatures of the Blue Ridge Mountains are in terrible danger. For Serafina to defeat this new evil before it engulfs her beloved home, she must search deep inside herself and embrace the destiny that has always awaited her.

Thirteen-year-old Raspberry Hill is starved for money. She will do just about anything legal to get her hands on the almighty dollar--wash cars, sell rotten candy, skip lunch, clean houses. She is obsessed. She is driven. She is afraid. Memories of being homeless, sleeping in the streets, and eating handouts keep Raspberry's eye on the only prize that matters to her: cold, hard cash. When the green stuff greases her palm, she gets comfort from feeling its crinkly paper power. And, when money is your best friend, there's more to do than hold it. Raspberry kisses her cash. She smells it. She loves it. But even money can't answer the questions that keep Raspberry awake at night. Will she and Momma ever move out of the projects? Oh, to be a ballerina It's a challenge for any little girl, but
even more so if you happen to be a vampire like Vampirina. First of
all, you have to find a class that meets at night. Then you have to
figure out how to perfect your form when you can't see yourself in
the mirror? And then there's wearing pink (not the most flattering
of colors if you happen to be undead) and that nagging urge to take
a little nip out of the other dancers. And worse of all STAGE

'Women must try to do things as men have tried. When they fail, their failure must be but a challenge to others.' -Amelia Earhart
Amelia Earhart developed a love of flying at a very young age. What began as a simple joy became something much deeper - a commitment to open doors for all women. As Amelia built a name for herself in the field of aviation - breaking numerous records along the way -she inspired future trailblazers to soar to new heights.
With an introduction by astronaut pioneer Eileen Collins, Amelia Earhart: This Broad Ocean focuses on Amelia's triumphant crossing of the Atlantic Ocean in 1928. Panel by panel, it offers a glimpse of her relentless ambition and tireless will to promote women's rights. Above all, it leaves us with a sense of her deep-rooted desire to touch the sky.
