I think you will find this is not just another dream book since it
includes some unique ideas as well as older views regarding the why
and what of a dream. Over the years I have read many books offering
a variety of ideas and theories on the subject, plus I took a
thought provoking "dream study course" through the Edgar Cayce
foundation. I will show you a simple way to outline and analyze
your dream and help others if the need arises. It is not only fun
to do, but it can often be very beneficial. I have included
thirty-four of my personal dreams with their interpretations as
examples. They cover a variety of subjects from spiritual to spooky
and all the in-between.
If you're open to hearing God even when you're sleeping, your dreams can be a rich source of revelation and insight. One man's dream saves his family from what could have been a deadly fire. A fifty-two-year-old woman finally understands a dream she's been having since she was thirteen. A policeman's dream warns a friend of a dangerous encounter with a suspect. Church elders have the same dream about a change in the church's leadership. A strange and frightening dream warns a mother of a potentially dangerous relationship in her son's life. A dream confirms an East Indian man's decision to become a Christian. As you read the details of these and other dreams that Dr. Greg Cynaumon describes you will find that they and the circumstances that surrounded them were more than conincidental. You will be convinced that God, who is concerned and involved in the lives of individuals, has somehting to say through dreams. And you won't want to miss His messages. Dr. Cynaumon examines dreams from a perspective that is both scientific and biblical. He explores dream interpretation, explains some common dream symbols, and answers questions about dreams and their occurrences in Scripture. He also corrects several popular myths about dreams. If you desire to unravel one of life's great mysteries but are wary of secular approaches to this subject, then you'll want to explore with Dr. Cynaumon how God still speaks through dreams.
Drawing from a rich understanding of dreaming in culture, history,
psychology, and modern dream study, Kelly Bulkeley and Patricia
Bulkley's Dreaming Beyond Death explicitly addresses three common
aspects of pre-death dreams and offers interpretations that will
aid both dying persons and their caregivers. Rev. Patricia
Bulkley's experience with the transformative possibilities of
pre-death dreams as a hospice counselor lend this book a deeply
personal and human touch, while Kelly Bulkeley's insightful
analysis and intellectual framework provide an understanding of the
deeper meanings behind this type of dreaming. A final chapter
provides resources and concrete methods for caregivers to
respectfully guide a dying person through the dreaming process to a
sense of peace.

In the dreams of Bret Harvey, a huge orange fireball has destroyed much of the landscape. It is a desert now, lifeless and filled with broken houses. Food is scarce. To see a human is rare. The Dark Ones, with their childlike voices and fingers like long knives, are constantly pursuing Harvey. Welcome to Serotonia, the very unpleasant world where Harvey's dreams take place. It's a world created by the use of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) to help Harvey cope with his depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder. The side effects of the drug cast a spell on his subconscious, creating a sequence of chilling dreams, which he retells in "Serotonia." The dreams expose some of the most raw and haunting parts of his psyche. In succession, the dreams tell the story of what is wrong in his life and how Harvey must face it. He returns to Serotonia each night, trying to discover what the Dark Ones really want. Serotonia leads him through a rabbit hole of terror while he tries to find the sense of peace that we all search for and learns how to cope with the darker side of himself.
These original poems are a product of travel and experience. The author has always believed in Emerson's words, "All life is an experience." A reader will find poetry concerning hope, joy, love, nature, travel, as well as humor and sometimes the sadness in life.
The co-authors of "Dreams and Company" may have met in a previous life. They meet regularly these days in their dreams - consciously and unconsciously. Herein, P4OLO and M4RK share their thoughts on and analyses of normal and unworldly situations from the spheres of history, science, technology, and cultural belief. From the deepest corners of the universe to the slide on a microscope, you are taken on a journey through what exists and what might be possible. Often the line is blurred between reality and the opportunity to present justifiable proof of questionable facts, origins, or concepts. Each entry in this book is as entertaining as it is enlightening. Is this real or not? You decide. It's all a part of your dreams.
