I want you to imagine that you work at a lunch counter. On a
typical day at lunchtime, there are a few dozen people milling
about outside waiting for you to open the doors. Suppose you show
up for work one day, and there are 12,000 people in line waiting
for their lunch. You scramble to feed them all. The next day, those
same 12,000 people arrive, but another 12,000 arrive with them. The
third day, all 24,000 show up again, and another 12,000 are behind
them. Imagine this pattern continues every day for 18 straight
years. Welcome to the Retirement Revolution. The intersection of 79

Cicero relates the story of two traveling Arcadians who went to
different lodgings--one to an inn, and the other to a private
house. During the night the latter dreamed that his friend was
begging for help. The dreamer awoke; but, thinking the matter
unworthy of notice, went to sleep again. The second time he dreamed
his friend appeared, saying it would be too late, for he had
already been murdered.

All language is made up of the words we use to explain what we
mean, so every word is a symbol that expresses our meaning. By the
author of, "Just How DO Affirmations" Work?, May Sinclair's "The
Sandman's Treasury" includes over 6,000 symbol definitions.
A good introduction to Edgar Cayce's approach to dreams and their
meanings. Compiled by Hugh Lynn Cayce and other dream experts, this
book includes Edgar Cayce's interpretations of his own dreams.
A stimulating study of dream interpretation and man's mind.
Our world is full of wonder and the ability to see that which could
be described as magical or supernatural has been buried deep inside
most of us. Developing the ability to concentrate, focus and
eliminate internal dialogue is essential for the individual who
chooses to experience the world from a multi-dimensional
perspective. There are experiences that are life changing and
interacting with spirit guides, elementals and allies can be
powerful. Learning methods to assist you in discovering your spirit
guides, enhancing your senses and using lucid dreaming can be
instrumental in moving forward along ones' spiritual path if
pursued consistently. Join Madonna as she shares exercises that
assist in the process interacting with the spiritual as well as her
personal experiences. The road to enlightenment is long; however
the rewards associated with this journey are indeed worth our
efforts.

"Forget your 3D cinema and TV, and your virtual cyber-worlds -
these are but pale electronic imitations of what you can access
through your own mind. This book shows you how to dream lucidly,
which means waking up inside dreams while still physiologically
asleep. Lucid dreaming is a genuine altered state of consciousness,
not merely vivid dreaming, in which you can find yourself in other
realities that seem as real as waking consciousness. There is no
limit to the creations you can explore, because the biological
wonder that is your brain is the most complex thing we know of. You
can have fun, meet departed friends and relatives as if they were
still alive, rehearse actions you have to undertake in the normal
world of daily reality, experience mystical and paranormal mind
states, and much more. A third of our life is spent asleep, and in
an average lifetime we experience about half a million dreams. Yet
for most of us that part of our existence is like a closed book. We
might remember an occasional vivid dream, but usually our dreams
are just vague, fragmented shadows that evaporate in our minds as
soon as we open our eyes. This book explains the history and nature
of dreams and lucid dreams, and then presents a uniquely
comprehensive range of techniques, tools and aids for attaining
lucid dreaming. So leave your 3D glasses behind and train yourself
to plunge into the inner virtual worlds that lie beyond your
dreams."
Breakthrough mentoring is more of an innovative mentoring approach
than "It Takes a Village." Both are effective, but I believe
Breakthrough mentoring is needed to aid in handling some of the
people situations of the 21st century. I came up with a formula for
Breakthrough mentoring that will be further explained in my book.
The formula is BM = (EQ x SP x M) > T. I believe that
Breakthrough mentoring only begins when a mentor has emotional
intelligence (EQ) and a structured process (SP) and specific
measures (M) used to continually assess mentorship outcomes
throughout the process. If these three componets are greater than
the time (T) invested in the mentee, Breakthrough mentoring has
begun and the chances of producing positive results are much
greater.
Pictures from the mind is a description of a number of inner
journeys that spread over a year. Manna Hjelmsmark lost her husband
after a long ad happy marriage. Shortly after his death she began -
with wonder and scepticism - to experience an inner world that she
could open up or close down at will just as described by shamans
and mystics and people who work with other states of consciousness.
The episodes are given here in texts and pictures - watercolours -
and have served as a help to come to terms with the overwhelming
sorrow which the writer felt but was not able to express.
