Daniel Alves da Silva (born 6 May 1983), commonly known as Dani Alves,is a Brazilian footballer. He plays as an attacking right defender forFC Barcelona and the Brazilian national team.

Before joining Barcelona, Alves spent a successful six year spell withSevilla FC, winning two UEFA Cups and the Copa del Rey with theAndalusian side. He joined Barcelona for 32.5m, becoming the mostexpensive defender to date. Alves won the Treble in his first seasonwith the club and a further Spanish super cup, European super cup, andFIFA Club World Cup, thus achieving the Sextuple. Also, he helped theclub to clinch another Spanish super cup, two league titles, and a UEFAChampions League in the years that followed. Alves has held a Spanishpassport since 2005. On Thursday, September 29, 2011, Alves wasappointed as a Special Olympics Ambassador for its Global Footballprogram, charged with promoting respect and inclusion in football forpeople with intellectual disabilities, particularly in the run up tothe 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Barcelona
On 2 July 2008, Alves joined FC Barcelona. He left Sevilla in tears andsaid that he would love to play for Sevilla again. He said that he cameto Sevilla as a boy and is now leaving as a man, but later broke downin tears at the press conference. The official price of the transferstands at £23 million up front, with about £7 million more to paydepending on a number of performance related factors over the next fewseasons of Alves' Barcelona career, making him the world's mostexpensive defender and the third most expensive player bought by Barca.He signed a four-year contract with Barcelona, that includes a buy-outclause of 90 million Euro's.

Daniel Munthe Agger (born 12 December 1984) is a Danish footballer who plays as a defender for Liverpool and captains the Denmark national football team. He started his senior career at Danish club Brondby IF in July 2004, with whom he won the 2005 Danish Superliga championship. The Liverpool fans have created a song for him to the tune of Agadoo.

Branislav Ivanovic is a Serbian footballer and the captain of the Serbia national football team who plays for Chelsea in the Premier League. He is a versatile defender who can operate as a right full back or as a right sided centre back.

He started his career in Serbia, playing for Remont, FK Srem and OFK Beograd, where he earned his first cap for Serbia, before moving to Russia to play for Lokomotiv Moscow. After two years in Moscow he moved to Chelsea. He played for Serbia at their first international tournament, the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Ivanovic was selected as the right-back of the season for the 2009-10 Premier League season as Chelsea won the league title and the 2010 FA Cup Final.

Chelsea 2012-13
Ivanovic played all of Chelsea's pre-season games and captained the side against the Seattle Sounders leading the side to 4-2 victory. On 12 August Ivanovic started the Community Shield match against Manchester City and was sent off for a two footed tackle on Manchester City countryman Aleksandar Kolarov. However, despite the red card, he will not be suspended for the first 3 matches of the Premier League. He started Chelsea's Premier League campaign by scoring an early goal against Wigan on 19 August, helping the Blues to a 2-0 opening round win. The Serbian defender scored again off an assist from Eden Hazard, as Chelsea defeated Reading 4-2 on 22 August.

Pedro Eliezer Rodriguez Ledesma (born 28 July 1987), commonly known asPedro or Pedrito, is a Spanish footballer who plays for FC Barcelonaand the Spanish national team, as a forward or winger.

Pedro usually plays the ball with his left foot but is actuallyright-footed. He can play on either side of the pitch, and even fit inas a target man. He is excellent at finding the right position and hasa strong shot that is most noticeable from long range.

During the 2009-10 season at his main club, FC Barcelona, Pedro becamethe first player in history to score in six different official clubcompetitions in one season.

Pedro began the 2010-11 season firmly established in Barcelona'sstarting XI. On 29 November 2010, he scored the second goal in a 5-0home win against Real Madrid, with Barca climbing to the first positionin the league. The following month, he netted twice at Espanyol in thelocal derby, in a 5-1 win.

On 20 April 2011, Pedro scored against Real Madrid in the second halfof the season's Spanish Cup final, but his goal was disallowed foroffside, in an eventual 0-1 extra time loss. On 3 May, against the sameopponent, in the Champions League semifinals second leg, he found IkerCasillas' net in a 1-1 home draw (3-1 aggregate win), for his 21stofficial goal of the campaign; in the Champions League final, he openedthe score against Manchester United, in an eventual 3-1 win.

On 5 July 2011, Pedro extended his contract by one year, until 2016.His buyout clause was raised from 90m to 150m Euro's.

Jose Bosingwa da Silva, known as Bosingwa, is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League, as a right defender.

An attacking fullback, his pace and ability to get up and down the flanks creates problems for the opposition. He spent most of his professional career with Porto and Chelsea.
A Portuguese international in the 2000s, Bosingwa represented the nation at Euro 2008.

Chelsea
On 19 June 2009, FC Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge conceded defeat in his club's attempt to sign Bosingwa, who remained at Stamford Bridge. He sustained a knee injury in October, being rendered unavailable for the rest of the season. The club announced in early March that he required further surgery, ruling him out of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

On 24 April 2012, Bosingwa played a vital role in Chelsea's match against Barcelona in the Champions League semifinals. He replaced injured Gary Cahill after only 12 minutes, and helped his side record a 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou and a 3-2 aggregate win; for most of the match he had to play as centre-back, as John Terry was also sent off before half-time.


In his natural position, Bosingwa played the full 120 minutes in the Champions League final against FC Bayern Munich, as the Blues won 4-3 on penalties and became the first club from London to win the tournament. With Chelsea's back four being commended for their ability to keep the strong opposing offense at bay, Bosingwa himself received plaudits for his efforts against French winger Franck Ribery; Shortly after, however, along with teammates Drogba and Salomon Kalou, he was told he could leave once his contract expired the following month.

Queens Park Rangers
On 17 August 2012, Bosingwa signed a three-year deal with Queens Park Rangers. He scored his first goal for his new club on the 28th, netting against Walsall in a 3-0 home win in the season's Football League Cup.
In December 2012 Bosingwa was fined two weeks' wages, for refusing to sit on the bench for a league game against Fulham.

Portugal
Bosingwa's consistent performances at club level earned him his first call-up to the Portuguese national team in May 2007 for a UEFA Euro 2008 qualifier in Belgium. Bosingwa made 24 appearances for Portugal as first choice right back including all four matches at Euro 2004 in Austria and Switzerland.
