Simba is the son of Mufasa. Mufasa was the ruler of the kingdom. In an attempt to rescue Simba, he is killed by his brother, Scar. Scar blames Simba for the death of his father and advises him to run away and never come back. Thus, Scar had achieves his goal of becoming ruler of the kingdom.

Then Simba flees in despair because he believes that he is responsible for his father’s death. Simba runs away and meets Timon and Pumbaa.

Simba returns after a long time to take his true place in the eternal circle of life. He becomes ruler of the kingdom.
