Celtic myth and legend, like the Tarot itself, come from a
luminous space and provide us with a portal, connecting our
everyday lives with the spiritual world. The Celtic Tarots, a
synthesis of the mysteries of Celtic lore, the wisdom of the Tarot,
and the exquisite art of Gaudenzi and Tenuta, aid in the esoteric
art of divination. The illustrations for the Major Arcana are
shaped by Celtic myth, legend, and history.
Publisher Review:
Warning Will Robinson When I saw that the Celtic Tarot was
created by two different artists I was worried. The last time I saw
a deck drawn by multiple artists (I'm not going to mention its
name) it seemed like a total joke. There was no continuity, no
tone, no style, not overall meaning that went through the deck,
making it virtually unusable for anything. All I could think of was
that silly, bulbous robot from the Lost in Space TV show (actually,
it was much better when it originally appeared in the classic movie
Forbidden Planet) running around warning the future creator of the
song "Fish Heads" to beware of dangers like giant carrots. When I
saw the deck, however, I breathed a sigh of relief. This deck is
good and looks...read more.
This set of 60 evocative images will speak directly to your soul.
The accompanying guidebook suggests creative ways to deepen your
experience of the cards and foster personal insight. "SoulCards I"
is complete unto itself, or can be used with its companion deck,
"SoulCards II" (0964562359) to enrich the range of imagery. Use
SoulCards by yourself, with a partner or in a group. Use these
powerfully evocative images to stimulate personal insight,
creativity, inter-relational conversation and more. The guidebook
supports you to use your creative resources to delve into the
images through journal writing, storytelling, visualisation,
movement, dream incubation and other expressive modalities. When
used in relationships and groups, SoulCards catalyse refreshing
responses and authentic communication. Children are fascinated with
the images, and often verbalise with unexpected wisdom and
maturity. The uses of SoulCards are endless!
The classic text for the Rider-Waite deck. Discusses the major and

Obtain spiritual development through the symbolism of 78 beautiful
Tarot cards inspired by woodcuts created between the sixteenth and
nineteenth centuries. Interpretations from alchemists, Christian
mystics, Kabbalists, and magicians are divided into the Majors and
Minors based on philosophies of both the Tarot and Kabbalah. Though
the philosophies are closely related, each suit possesses its own
unique characteristics, descriptions, and meanings for the cards.
Possessing this deck is like holding a complete synopsis of
Kabbalah that fits into the palm of your hand. Use the cards to
encourage your readings and interpretations for a clear narrative
that concerns day-to-day issues as well as the more important
questions of your life. The guide provides an overview of the
Secret Wisdom of the Ages, delving into the Tarot in relation to
Kabbalah. There is a summary table for ease of reading and for
understanding the beliefs involved.
Connect with Mother Earth's love and discover the healing wisdom of
nature through the unique spells, rituals and beautiful, diverse
illustrations in this sacred 44-card oracle deck. Mother Earth is
our sacred home. We rely on her for everything from the air we
breathe to the water we drink. She gives us so much and yet we can
sometimes take her magic for granted. But it is not too late. We
may have stopped listening, but she has not stopped communicating.
Each card message in this deck is an invitation to listen to Mother
Earth's guidance; each spell, ritual or invocation an opportunity
to bring these lessons off the pages and into your daily practice;
and each illustration a reminder that we are part of nature, not
outside of it. With bodies of every shape, size, skin tone and hair
texture represented, this deck affirms we are all Mother Earth's
children.
In The Mediumship Training Deck, bestselling authors John Holland
and Lauren Rainbow impart their knowledge, techniques and lessons
they have used for themselves and have taught in
mediumship-development workshops. By training with these cards, you
will enhance and strengthen your mediumship abilities and establish
a stronger link between this world and the Spirit Realm. Some of
the areas these cards will help you develop and enhance include
auras, spiritual energy centres, mind focus, meditation, imagery
and imagination, and more. This extraordinary and educational card
deck is the first of its kind and benefits everyone from the
beginner student of mediumship to the advanced.
The images on the Marseille Tarot cards started out as
illustrations of Sumero-Bablyonian myths, preserved through the
centuries on cylinder seals. They were copied by people who didn't
understand them but who also had access to some form, whether
written or oral, of the wisdom encoded in those myths and in Bible
stories. That wisdom is identical with Sufi teachings as espoused
by teachers like Ibn al 'Arabi, Rumi, and others, including
Gurdjieff and his teachings about the enneagram. The myths and
stories are decoded in this book using the multiple meanings
conveyed by Arabic consonantal word roots and by reference to those
doctrines and to modern discoveries about conditioning and the
hemispheric specialization of the brain. Arabic is the closest
existing descendant of the ancient Protosemitic language. The
Kabbalah, long rumoured to be linked to the Tarot, is shown to come
from the same sources, and originally had eight, not ten, sefiroth.
The visual evidence alone is overwhelming: the mystery of where the
Tarot comes from has been definitively solved.
