Born in 1944, German fashion designer Wolfgang Joop (pronounced “yope”) was, at the insistence of his father, studying advertising psychology in college until disinterest got the better of him and he dropped to work as a restaurateur and involve himself in the art world . In 1969 Joop began to study art formally but again, did not complete this course of training.
