Ex-major Dave Stubbs is now working for the SIS (MI6) as an
assassin for the British Government. The department he is working
for, is so secret, even the director (C) has not been informed of
its existence. This is to protect the service from adverse
publicity. Had the director known of this unit's existence, it
would create problems for him and the service if questions were
asked in parliament. Dave's new assignment is to assassinate the
security advisor to Sheik Mohammad in Kuwait. This man was funding
terrorism to the tune of 20 million pounds. The British Government
wanted him dead. Dave was given an aluminium case of equipment
which consisted of a night scope, a tripod, a 7.62mm rifle and a
9mm pistol, both of which had silencers incorporated in their
barrels. Before and after the hit, he would be given diplomatic
status. Dave thought this was a one-off affair, but it proved to be
just one of a string of assassinations he would be required to
carry out for the government. In his mind he could not refuse their
requests as he knew they had total control over him. In fact, they
could put him in prison, for murder.
I found her photograph today...Almost thirty years previously,
Anita Mead had murdered her pop star lover, run away and killed
herself out of remorse. An open-and-shut case. Or is it? Anita had
been Jerry Blore's first love and now, recovered from the
alcoholism which cost him his marriage and career, he is determined
to prove her innocence. Is he simply deluding himself? Or can it be
that after all this time someone has something to hide?
When a prominent lawyer is shot while waiting at a suburban stop
sign it sets off a nation-wide manhunt for an elusive killer.
Special Agent Jack Randall of the FBI finds himself appointed to
track down and stop the shooter. Not by his superiors, but by the
killer himself. As more bodies fall the shooter takes his message
to the press, earning the support of the public with his choice of
targets and confounding the FBI at every turn. From the desert of
Nevada to the urban jungle of New York City, Jack and his team
follow the trail of bodies and haunting messages left behind by the
killer. With the pressure to find him mounting on Jack, the
assassin's crimes grow bolder, and his message more sinister and
closer to home. It becomes clear to Jack that in order to find the
shooter, he may have to look inside his own past, and become the
man he was years ago.

part of the covert world, but Cam still has his specialist skills
and training - he is also armed with an archive of undealt with
terrorist activists in the UK and their personal details and
whereabouts - He is ready to start his crusade. However, as he
discovers - a plan never survives first contact. Sterling is a real

When Kurt Austin and Joe Zavala investigate a mass stranding of aquatic
life in the Indian Ocean, they accidentally uncover a much deeper
mystery.
A strange figure soon steals NUMA’s findings, forcing a high-speed
chase—someone really didn’t want them examining those dead whales. But
who, and why?
A cryptic text through the NUMA satellite network makes things still
stranger: these odd phrases and numbers look like NUMA codes. But who
could be tantalizing the crew with such specific knowledge of their
tech?
Are they being helped by an old friend, or lured into a trap by a
traitor who knows a little too much about NUMA’s inner workings?
Kurt, Joe, and even Max, the agency’s supercomputer, will have to
investigate like never before as they decrypt data, infiltrate a cult
of cloned men, and prepare for a battle on two very different planes:
one physical; one digital.
Dr. Peter Chesterfield is one of the Royal London Hospital's top
neurosurgeons. He is also a workaholic, ordered by his boss to take
a week off to attend a medical symposium at the luxurious Elysium
Grand on the island of Maui. While there, Peter pulls a woman with
a skull fracture from the water. Though he is able to revive her in
the ambulance, she eventually dies in his arms, leaving him with
only one clue to what happened to her: the word "honu."
Increasingly obsessed with discovering the cause of his patient's
death, Peter becomes entangled in an ongoing investigation of a
brazen luxury auto theft. He also becomes a source of deep
irritation to detective Lisa Kealoha, who has jurisdiction over the
case. But when the two join forces, they begin to uncover a
destructive plot that runs far deeper than either of them could
have imagined. And if they're not careful, they're both going to
end up dead. Award-winning author James R. Hannibal whisks you away
to the deadly beauty of Hawaii for a story of greed, violence, and
justice that will leave you breathless.

It's not dust she's looking for.
It's dirt.
Esmie is supposed to be invisible. Just a cleaner with a foreign accent
that no one quite has time to place. Her uniform of leggings and a
duster allows her to explore the homes of the wealthy, unseen; an
outsider creeping around the edges of privilege.
But as she sweeps through the exclusive Woodlands gated neighbourhood,
cleaning is the last thing on her mind. Treading silently over the
polished wooden floorboards and cloud-soft carpets, Esmie gathers up
the mess of broken marriages, quiet deceptions and careless failures.
She tucks away their fragments, keeping them safe. For now.
Because one of the residents took from her the person she loves most.
She’s not here to clean; she’s here for revenge – and she’ll get it
using the weapons her employers unwittingly handed her along with the
keys to their homes: their own secrets…
This beautifully sinister, propulsive page-turner that explores themes
of identity and privilege is perfect for fans of Harriet Tyce and Lisa
Jewell.
Six friends gather at a country house for a birthday weekend. They
decide to play a game.
All six names go in a hat. Choose two, and imagine one murdering the
other.
Write it down. Type it up. Read it out.
Points are given for making the murders sound convincing.
Of course, when given such a task, it’s only natural to use what you
know.
Secrets. Grudges. Affairs.
But once you’ve put it in a story, that secret is out.
So with each fictional murder, someone gets a motive for a real one.
Which leads to the most important question:
When a real murder comes, will you be able to spot it in time?
The mutilated body of a diver is found in the Yucatan peninsula,
far from the coast. In Europe a deadly illness is sweeping through
the continent. When cave diving expert Mike Summers returns to
Mexico and crosses paths with maverick government agent Raphael
Rodriguez, he soon finds himself plunged into a world of intrigue
and terror. Rodriguez has been sent to monitor drug movements along
the Yucatan coastline, Mike is trying to unravel the mystery of his
friend's death, but both find their investigations linked to the
area's ancient subterranean cave systems and to events which shook
the local Maya civilisation some 500 years previously. "Steve
Turley's second adventure thriller is another polished page-turner,
written by an expert in the undersea world of sub-aqua, and an
adventurer in his own right. A classy and enjoyable read."
