Spencer Johnson's Who Moved My Cheese? is a bestselling book that has helped millions of people around the world adapt and succeed in changing times. Now Dr. Johnson has adapted his story for the picture book audience so that, starting from the earliest age, children can view change as a positive thing that can lead to new opportunity. Young readers will enjoy following the story of the four little characters, Sniff, Scurry, Hem and Haw, who make their way through a maze looking for the "Magical Cheese" that makes them happy. And once they find the Cheese, it seems like it will last forever-until one morning when everything changes. Who moved their Cheese? Will it come back? Or will they have to look for different Cheese, venturing onto strange paths, around corners they've never explored? As children follow these friends through the maze of change, they can try to figure out which character they're most like-or which they most admire-and what their own Magical Cheese might be.
This book takes a light-hearted look at the characters and
creatures from the the Chinese mythological stories. These myths
come from different cultural groups, and they include stories about
how the world came to be, as well as folk tales and stories with a
religious message. The stories are full of gods, monsters, animals,
ghosts and nature spirits. The book is structured as a 'Who's Who'
of the culture's myths and legends and has a gossipy, informal
tone, allowing the characters' personalities to come through. The
chapters begin with a spread featuring factfiles of two characters.
Each of these has an "In His Own Words" section, where the
character himself (or herself) gives fast facts such as parents,
powers, crowning achievements, and "Not to be confused with...".
This is followed by a myth re-relling, presented in a
magazine-style, featuring the two characters. In total there are
six spreads of fact files (12 characters total) and six different
re-tellings.
Dawn caught the darkness unaware, the sun springing from behind the
mountains like a rabid cat to devour the moon's sliver. During the
course of the night the temperature about Heartbreak Ridge had
risen to exceed a hundred degrees. Below its western rim the
massive wilderness of Whisperland was hotter still. To the south,
the animals of New Eden had amassed sixty-some-odd deep and over a
kilometer wide. Across from them, the gladiators of the
Fleshstalkers and the Rebel Skys loomed as a formidable challenge.
In the backdrop, Warbird posed his bloodshot eyes to a trio of
figures at the fall line of the plateau-the great roan stallion and
his riders, the human trash who dared interfere with the inevitable
outcome of the epic battle. Galahad felt certain he was on the
threshold of an epiphany, just as he knew that nothing short of one
would save the kingdom.
In this magical sticker book, you can complete pictures of some of
the world's most awe-inspiring mythical beasts - from a howling
werewolf and monstrous yeti, to a fiery Leviathan and majestic
Chinese dragon. Not forgetting the terrifying Medusa, of course...
Find the right stickers to complete your beasts, then read their
descriptions, compare their statistics, and use them to create some
stories of your own.

be inserted as part of the new picture. The tiny Teddy is attached
to the book's spine with a ribbon, so he can't get lost. There is a
cloth carrying handle on the book's spine and a Velcro tab to keep
the book closed. The book and Teddy come packaged in a clear
plastic carrying case. What parents, grandparents, and teachers are
saying: "Too cute! Would highly recommend!" "I bought this to add
to my arsenal of toddler entertainment before I flew with my then
17-month-old daughter for twenty hours. Teddy, along with his
family, got us through some portions of those flights when it felt
like time was standing still. Teddy can sit at a table and eat a
meal, brush his teeth, have a bath (with ducky) and towel off, sit
on Daddy's lap for story time, give Mama a hug and then cuddle down
in his bed with little teddy and go to sleep. The fact that Teddy
can accomplish all this while still attached to the book is a
blessing when you are in a plane or a car, so, unlike with some
other toys, you don't spend time bumping your head and scrabbling
around in the most undignified manner under seats while your
toddler makes her disapproval known in no uncertain terms." "This
book is adorable and a part of our bedtime ritual. I purchased when
my son was 6-month-old and he loves it. The book is colorful and
bright and in a good size. The story is cute, short, and you get to
move the teddy bear through each page. On each page there's a place
and an activity for Him: eat dinner, brush teeth with a detachable
toothbrush, take a bath in the tub with a detachable ducky and put
his pajamas on, reads a book on daddy lap and gets a hug from mom,
then go to bed with his own little teddy bear. The fabric is good
quality and durable, I washed it gentle and dried" "This is the
absolute cutest soft book I have ever seen. It's excellent quality
throughout and has the cleverest ways to manipulate the little bear
on every page. I can't wait to give it to my grandson Teddy to read
to his baby sister!"
