This work consists of displaying some of the Essays I wrote during my studies in Theology. It is really intended to help some students to debate my points of view and appreciate my sense of criticism
This is the story of how an unseen world began to reveal itself to me in the years following the death of my son. It tells of the transformation I went through; how I was taken from viewing life through a lens which allowed me to see only the physical world to a vantage point where I was given a much broader view of our existence. I invite the reader to take the journey I found myself on; what for me was a paradigm shift in my understanding of life. This journey began at a point where my feelings were a mixture of hopelessness, deep sorrow and frustration. I began a search trying to find answers to the question of what lies behind our existence, and in particular to try to determine whether or not I would ever be with my son again. I am not a religious person, so I began to search for answers in a way that satisfied my scientific mentality and was surprised that, after a great deal of searching, both in the literature and in my own soul, the answers gradually began to appear. I discovered what for me is a new reality - a much better, far more interesting and more cheerful one than I ever had before. www.UnderstandingAfterlife.com Bill Kaspari is a retired engineer and businessman who now spends his time with family & friends, enjoying his grandchildren and competing in masters track while continuing to learn about new developments in the emerging field of paranormal science.

"Everything You Didn't Want to Know about Sex" provides a compelling glimpse into Internet dating and matchmaking sites and into the human sexual expressions of those who use these dating tools to find a mate. For over two years, Reynaldo Olivia toured and joined several matchmaking sites of various styles and through his research and interaction with other site visitors; he collected the stories for this book. Posing as a male in every case, he was as young as twenty-seven and as old as sixty-five. After acting straight, bisexual and gay and leading over a thousand conversations, Olivia shares the results of his unscientific study, revealing surprising revelations that include fetishes, fantasies, and everything in between. From the obese woman who was over three hundred pounds and hungry for sex to the middle-aged woman with a shaved head who wished for slaves she could punish to satisfy her sadistic desires, Olivia shares the unique wants of those who frequent these sites to find others who share the same sexual cravings. This fascinating look into cyberspace and the world of Internet dating proves that visitors have a vested interest in expanding their sex lives, and desire the freedom to express their needs while protecting their personal identity.
Most people who heard of my story referred to it as near-death experience. However there was no out-of-body perception involved. I was just somewhere, but not in this world. It 's like being all eyes and heart for I saw, and felt, but did not exist - bodily For some who might have similar experiences, this might be a time of sharing a story. Mysterious. Mystical. Yet, very hopeful While trying to understand what happened, I studied the supernatural experiences of Saints, and others. It was quite an eye-opener for a regular Catholic who is suddenly faced with a new, life-changing outlook. Life became more challenging, but also spiritually rewarding.
It was quite by accident that Imma Andkaer first learned that her husband, Michael, could see into a person's aura and witness injury, disease, and a variety of emotions such as anger, love, hate, and fear. In her memoir, My Manifest and the Grail, Andkaer traces a journey into a fascinating, hidden world just beyond our sight, in which everything we think and believe produces the energies of love or hate. Andkaer chronologically shares her experiences, beginning with a traumatic childhood during which her mentally ill mother was taken away from their family. She continues through her adulthood as she married, overcame a near-death experience, became pregnant, and eventually divorced the man who had come to manipulate her at every turn. As she reveals how she bravely faced life alone as a single mother of a cherished son, Andkaer recalls a dark time; she attempted suicide and wondered if anyone would ever understand her pain. It was only when she vowed to heal herself from within that she began to see visions that took her on an empowering journey to the truth. My Manifest and the Grail shares one woman's incredible life story as she unites her spirit with the "Touch" to offer an important message of healing.
On the Internet, seekers investigate anonymous manifestos that focus on the findings of brilliant scientists said to have discovered pathways into alternate realities. Gathering on web forums, researchers not only share their observations, but also report having anomalous experiences, which they believe come from their online involvement with these veiled documents. Seeming logic combines with wild twists of lost Moorish science and pseudo-string theory. Enthusiasts insist any obstacle to revelation is a sure sign of great and wide-reaching efforts by consensus powers wishing to suppress all the liberating truths in the Incunabula Papers (included here in complete form). In "Legend-Tripping Online," Michael Kinsella explores these and other extraordinary pursuits. This is the first book dedicated to legend-tripping, ritual quests in which people strive to explore and find manifest the very events described by supernatural legends. Through collective performances, legend-trippers harness the interpretive frameworks these stories provide and often claim incredible, out-of-this-world experiences that in turn perpetuate supernatural legends. Legends and legend-tripping are assuming tremendous prominence in a world confronting new speeds of diversification, connection, and increasing cognitive load. As guardians of tradition as well as agents of change, legends and the ordeals they inspire contextualize ancient and emergent ideas, behaviors, and technologies that challenge familiar realities. This book analyzes supernatural legends and the ways in which the sharing spirit of the internet collectivizes, codifies, and makes folklore of fantastic speculation.
On the age-old streets of Charleston, the oft-forgotten enclaves of the Holy City, the authors bring the reader face to face with a group of orphans who haunt a College of Charleston dorm, a Citadel cadet who haunts a local hotel and the specter of William Drayton at Drayton Hall Plantation, to name just a few. Based on historical events and specific details that are often lost in our general notion of ghosts, each haunting encounter will send chills through the reader's senses. From a bookstore phantom notorious for rearranging the books in perfect vertical stacks, to a gruesome nineteenth-century amputation taking place again in a medical student's apartment, Macy and Buxton offer up stories and essays of a nature more grim and morbid than ever heard of before. Complete with over 30 black and white photographs. |
