Pyromania is the third studio album by British heavy metal band Def Leppard, released in 1983. It broke the band across North America and in Japan, and would sell over 10 million copies in the US alone. It featured new guitarist Phil Collen and was produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange. The album was partially recorded with original guitarist Pete Willis, whose rhythm guitar tracks and backing vocals appear on all songs.

Polaris is the twelfth studio album by the Finnish power metal band Stratovarius. It is the band's first album featuring new members, guitarist Matias Kupiainen and bassist Lauri Porra, and also the first Stratovarius album not featuring long-time guitarist Timo Tolkki, who left the band in 2008. Vocalist Timo Kotipelto describes Polaris as "a positive, powerful album that Stratovarius fans all over the world are certain to take to their hearts".

The Sinister Urge is the second solo studio album (excluding the remix album American Made Music to Strip By) by the former White Zombie singer Rob Zombie, released in 2001. The album was named after the 1961 Ed Wood film The Sinister Urge.

Hailing from the UK, this four-strong outfit are all about honest lyrics, raw vocal performances (delivered by frontperson, Kitty A. Austen), plus rage-fuelled music intended to give a voice to those closer to the fringe than the center. More gang than band, Saint Agnes (Roman martyr, patron saint of a number of things, including girls) seek to empower those who've been battered and bruised yet refuse to lie down, and it's a thread that runs deep within their second studio album, Bloodsuckers. From the title track onwards, this is a genre-jumping body of work, taking in elements of metal, punk, industrial and grunge, without being bound by any specific style. The 11 tracks here come straight from the source, largely self-produced and mixed, and this self-contained approach provides an extra emotional weight throughout.
