Sister Monica Joan associates the Outer Hebrides with St Eustace's White Stag, a symbol of Christ, and is thrilled at the idea of travelling there. However, she soon discovers to her annoyance that she is being left behind with Sister Hilda and Sister Frances. Season 2
Sparky English widow Louisa and her brood continue to put down roots in their dilapidated rented house, alongside an ever-increasing menagerie of animals brought home by youngest son Gerry.

Season 3

Leslie’s also enjoying a much-improved love life with three very different girls. But there’s no safety in numbers when his mother and siblings decide to interfere. Margo has (temporarily) given up on love and found a new vocation, while Gerry’s obsession with animals continues to grow. As for Louisa, a trip to the UK with Larry to sort out family affairs reminds her of the restrictions of her old life. After a brush with bohemian London artists, she realises her heart lies in her island paradise.

Season 4
Louisa’s keeping busy by opening the doors of the family villa as a guest house. But with cousin Basil as her only paying guest, business isn’t exactly booming. Larry’s struggling to get his risqué Black Book published and enjoying love with two ballet dancers, while Leslie’s throwing himself back into his job (and shooting). Animal-mad Gerry now has ambitions to open his own zoo, and Margo’s up for another new challenge as she decides to start her own beauty salon.

Peaky Blinders is an epic gangster drama set in the lawless streets of post-war Birmingham on the cusp of the 1920s.

Britain in 1919 is a tumultuous mix of despair and hedonism, a nation cleaned out by the extravagances of the Great War. Returning soldiers, newly-minted revolutionaries and criminal gangs all fight for survival in an industrial landscape gripped by economic upheaval. Thomas Shelby and his family run the most feared and powerful local gang, the Peaky Blinders. Named for their practice of sewing razor blades into the peaks of their caps, they make money from illegal betting, protection and the black market. But Tommy’s ambitions go beyond running the streets, and when a crate of guns goes missing from an arms factory, he recognises an opportunity to move up in the world.

As rival gangs, Communist revolutionaries and IRA Fenians descend on Small Heath in pursuit of the weapons; Winston Churchill dispatches a ruthless police chief from Belfast to impose order on an increasingly lawless city and recover the guns.

Peaky Blinders is a dazzling picture of England taken directly from the pages of our secret history. They will now burst into life in a vibrant evocation of a hedonistic age. The Shelbys will be a family to be reckoned with.
