This fine drawing nib has a fine tip and is suitable for very detailed drawing. For best results, use with drawing ink on cartridge paper or smooth-finish drawing paper or Bristol board. Please note that due to the mechanism used to lodge the nib in the end of the handle, this nib will only fit certain drawing pen holders (like this red Manuscript Drawing Nib Holder).

A large, stiff-spined, traditional quill (real feather, colours will vary) fitted with an accomodation tip and a fine, flexible Gilt Nib no 256, specially selected to reproduce the writing style of the Middle Ages.

The accomodation tip allows you to switch to many other nibs. The nib included is very similar to our “I“ drawing nib but with a finer, more pointed tip.
