The ABT Dual Brush Pen is available in 96 vivid colours. The colours are water-based and can be used as water-colours and can also be blended. For this purpose, apply the colours to a glossy surface, e.g. an old CD; and blend them with the help of a paint-brush and water. That way you can create beautiful effects and shades.

Each marker features a 1mm thin bullet tip for fine lines, detailed illustrations, and smooth writing. Filled with high-quality water-based acrylic ink, these markers provide vibrant, opaque colors that are quick-drying, fade-resistant, and non-toxic, ensuring safe use for both adults and students. Daler-Rowney FW Mixed Media Paint Markers can be used with a wide variety of liquid media such as acrylic inks, watercolour paints or drawing inks, or filled with water for use as a blender of watercolour pencils. They consist of a refillable barrel and a replaceable fibre nib, both of which are available in a wide range of sizes.

The barrels and nibs can be washed out with water if you wish to change inks. If you are using acrylics, acrylic inks or drawing inks, simply fill the markers from the tube or (if mixing your own colour) add paint using a dropper pipette. If using watercolours, add water, then squeeze a few drops from your watercolour tube or tubes into the top of the barrel. Please be aware that paints such as pearlescent or metallic acrylics which contain mica crystals or sizeable particles will not work in Daler FW Mixed Media Paint Markers, as the particles will block the passage of ink through the nib.

These markers are pump markers, which means that they must be pressed against the paper a few times before use, to allow the ink to saturate the fibre tip. It is best to perform this operation on a spare sheet of paper. Markers should be shaken before use and stored horizontally with the cap on when not in use.
