Olly Murs' first studio album in over four years 'Marry Me' is the 7th of his illustrious career.

'Die Of A Broken Heart' opens the album, and arrives as the first single. From the opening notes, you can hear why - it's an instant ear-worm, a one-listen-and-you're-hooked pop-reggae outlier.

Gutternsipe and Cuntroaches are two collectives operating on the slimy, rotten edge of the world. After a European tour, both bands decided to go into studios in their respetive home towns - Berlin for Cuntroaches and Leeds for Guttersnipe - and document where they were. Across four tracks they individually map out the end of the world and the forging in fire and dirt of a new one.

Coverage of a concert held to celebrate the 40-year career of the Scottish rock band at the Black Isle Showground on the 10th of August 2013. The gig was notable for an appearance by former frontman Donnie Munro, who left the band in 1997 to pursue a political career. Along with other past members of Runrig, Donnie joined the current line-up onstage to perform a number of popular songs from their back catalogue.

2009 14-track CD album. The history of the world's greatest pop band has hardly taken a pause in the past 35 years, from the 380 million albums sold to the record-breaking musical and blockbuster film which is Mamma Mia! But behind the scenes there's another musical side to Benny Andersson. For the past 20 years he has been leading The Benny Andersson Band, a group of 16 exceptional musicians and singers who share his passion for the Swedish folk tradition, not to mention Big Band, Bach, polka, waltzes, Celtic folk, Fifties standards - and straight-ahead pop music. The latter is showcased on the title track, the first new pop composition written by Benny with his ABBA song writing partner Bjrn Ulvaeus in 15 years. Vocal duties on this, and three of the four other tracks translated into English for the first time, are taken by the Swedish star Helen Sjholm; with additional vocals by Swedish singer, Tommy Krberg. The 14-track album captures highlights from the three albums released in Sweden by the Benny Andersson Band along with some brand new tracks. 'I wanted to make music based on the Swedish folk tradition, but with new songs written by me,' says Benny Andersson, who also plays accordion on the record!).

While spending time trying to conquer the audio of live-stream athome performances, I got better acquainted with my friend Adam McDaniel, an engineer and producer in Asheville, NC. Adam and I had known each other for years. When the band was a bit smaller I'd often rent his studio, Drop of Sun, for pre-recording / pre tour rehearsals. Summer 2020 was tough for many reasons. But Adam and his wife Emily opened their home to me and made it a safe space to create and let go. I had an idea to record some covers and bring some of the band into the mix, or add other players. I wanted to record 80's songs that I'd overheard walking the aisles at the grocery store, and I needed to laugh and have fun and be a little less serious about the recording process in general. I thought about completely changing some of the songs and turning them inside out. I'd heard "Gloria" by Laura Branigan for the first time at a family Christmas gathering and I was amazed at all the aunts who got up to dance. I imagined them all dancing and laughing in slow motion, and that's when I got the idea to slow the entire song down and try it out in this way. I felt that "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats could be reinterpreted to be about this time of quarantine and the fear of being around anyone or having too much fun. It made me wonder, is it safe to laugh or dance or be free of it all for just a moment? I know it's not really in my history to do something unintentional or just for the hell of it but my connection to these songs is pretty straightforward, I just wanted to have a little fun and be a little more spontaneous, and I think I needed to remember that I could!

Roxette - Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle came out of Sweden in the late 80's. Their game was pop, their mission to conquer the world. With 33 chart-busting singles and total record sales exceeding 75 million, its seems safe to say mission accomplished. Except for one thing, it aint over yet. Biding their time during Marie Fredrikssons recovery after her brain tumour operation in 2002, the band has gradually staged a comeback that will climax with a new album and a World Tour in 2011.
