The Hahnemühle Grey Book is a 40 sheet sketchbook bound in a lightly textured, anthracite-coloured board cover. The paper is a 120gsm light grey sketch paper which is acid-free. The paper is suitable for working with Indian ink, dip pens, fineliners and acrylic markers as well as other water-based pens with a light flow of ink. Because it is a mid-tone paper, it will take both dark tones and highlights.The paper has an extremely smooth almost glossy surface, and is not suitable for soft pastel or coloured pencil. It is a non-absorbent surface and is not suitable for even light washes.This book is thread stitched and bound so that it is possible to work on two contiguous pages, across the centre seam.
