Every individual is born into a particular environment that from
birth shapes his or her life. Relationships are a key factor in
this evolution, beginning with the parents and siblings, and
expanding to friendship, coworkers, and romance. Each of these, as
well as the people and experiences attracted, can be seen in the
horoscope. Some bring happiness and lasting ties, while others
bring despair, suffering, and learning experiences. The Contact
Cosmogram focuses on relationships through the technique of chart
comparison, through which it is possible to determine whether
permanent harmony and complementary factors exist between two
people. The author also explores the indicators that can help or
hinder two people as they confront life crises. Extensively
illustrated with many examples, The Contact Cosmogram explores the
lives of famous couples, problem marriages, and collaborators.

In Astrology it has long been known that the sign of the zodiac,
rising in the east at birth (the ascending sign), largely
determines physical appearance. In this book David Anrias shows
what each sign looks like when rising. He goes further and,
dividing each sign into 10 degree sections (known as "decanates"),
shows how appearance changes, from early degrees, to middle
degrees, to late degrees of the same sign. All 36 drawings are by
the author himself, who was an accomplished artist and a keen
observer. Twelve of these you will find in the frontispiece, the
remaining 24 are in Book 1, chapter 7. While other artists have
sketched the twelve basic types, and one or two have given
variations on some of them, Anrias is the only astrological
artist/writer to make systematic sketches of all 36
variations.Anrias follows this with deft character sketches. If a
given decanate (the third decanate of Libra, for example) produces
a distinct face, it also produces a distinct personality. Of this
book, Dr. H., of Regulus Astrology LLC (author of A Rectification
Manual; America is Born) writes, "I find Anrias' use of the decans
based on triplicities more accurate than Chaldean decans for
application in physiognomy judgments."DAVID ANRIAS, the pen-name of
Brian Ross, served with the British forces in World War I. A
natural sensitive, after the war he joined the Theosophical
Society, studied in India, and wasassociated with Jiddu
Krishnamurti's ill-fated Order of the Star in the East. He
strenuously disagreed with Krishnamurti's decision to dissolve it.
Anrias's intense study of theosophy and metaphysics enlivens his
astrology, making his book most fascinatingreading.

useful even for those who use computer software to produce charts
because one is then aware when a chart is wrong though that
occasional error in data entry. Also, chart calculation is an
essential skill for those seeking professional certification in
astrology.
Please, do not trust this book more than your doctor! The ancient
tradition of astrology is another way of looking at ourselves than
the methods developed by modern natural science. It cannot
substitute science any more than science can incorporate astrology.
The best use you can have of this introduction to medical astrology
is as an alternative perspective on your health. By examining your
horoscope you shed light on the complexity of living your life in
ways that agree with you the most. Learn how your health is
described by the Zodiac signs, the movements of the planets, their
aspects, and the astrological Houses. This book contains all the
basics you need to get started on that exploration. Stefan Stenudd
is a Swedish author who has written several bestselling books about
astrology since the 1970's. He has also written books about myth,
life energy concepts, Ancient Greek cosmology, and the Japanese
martial arts. His fiction, too, deals with cosmological and
existential themes.
For centuries, astrology seemed like fate. You could roll with the
punches of the planets, but, until now, you couldn't change them.
Now there is a way to give a twist to the wheel of fate. Every year
on your birthday, you get a solar return horoscope and that affects
you for the next six months. The nice thing is that you can change
it by being in a different location on your birthday. This book
shows you how. Bob Marks has been a professional astrologer since
1971. He is the producer and host of the cable show, Astrology Now,
which started in 1979 and is the longest running astrology show on
television.
Sahl bin Bishr (Zahel) and Masha'allah were two of the most
influential medieval astrologers from the Arabic period. This
essential work in medieval astrology translates 16 of their works,
most for the first time, and includes many charts and lengthy
introductory remarks and explanations by the translator.
In Astrological terms, the prenatal epoch starts at the moment of
conception. According to the author, "the prenatal epoch is a
certain moment of time, occurring approximately at the commencement
of the gestative period... when the degree ascending on the eastern
horizon, and the longitude of the moon thereat, interchange with
the longitude of the moon and the degree ascending at birth, or
their respective opposite points." (pg. 19) What this means is that
your prenatal moon was your birth ascendant, and your prenatal
ascendant is your birth moon, or the opposite points in the zodiac.
There are four possibilities: If the natal moon is above or below
the horizon at birth, and if it is increasing or decreasing in
light. So what good is this? For one thing, it helps explain infant
abnormalities, as well as infant mortality, in cases where there
are no other astrological factors. It also aids in reading charts
for multiple births: Twins, triplets, quads and quints. Closely
allied to the Prenatal Epoch is the Law of Polarity, or sex.
Properly calculated, the Prenatal Epoch will not only confirm the
sex of the individual, it will also serve to rectify the birth-time
itself. Unlike other methods of rectification, where absurdly large
time changes can result, Prenatal Epoch calculations correct minor
errors in clock-time, thus enabling greater precision in
forecasting.
After seven years of investigation, Alan Leo abandoned the various
methods advocated by the different schools of exoteric astrology
and began adopting a system, based on his own study and experience,
which was centered on what is known as the progressed horoscope.
The progressed horoscope is based on the "Day For A Year" system of
progressing the nativity, a system first employed by the ancient
Arabian astrologers. If not the ideal system of prediction, claimed
Leo, it is certainly the most simple and on the whole the most
satisfactory astrology system ever put forward. This Cosimo Classic
is a reprint of the First Edition, originally published in 1905.
ALAN LEO (1860-1917) is often called "the father of modern
astrology." He was born a Leo Sun with Virgo Rising, in
Westminster, London and given the name William Frederick Allan. He
taught himself astrology at the age of 28 and within a decade he
was sole proprietor of the enormously successful Modern Astrology
Publishing Company and its magazine, which eventually became known
as Modern Astrology. His thirty books on the subject fostered a
revival in legitimate astrology in the twentieth century.
Each of the 360 degrees of the Zodiac has its own unique symbol and
meaning. These symbols are often applied to the degrees of the
Ascendant, Sun, Moon, and ruling planet of the natal horoscope.
This book, comprising two complete sets, was first published in
1898 and has long been ranked as among the finest on the subject.
Charubel (1826-1908) was the pseudonym of John Thomas, a Welsh
clairvoyant, astrologer and healer. As a young man he studied for
the ministry, but when forced to choose between religious life and
his psychic abilities, he chose the later. He founded (and later
dissolved) an occult order. He also published numerous books and
was editor of several periodicals. His Degrees of the Zodiac
Symbolized was first published in 1893. Sepharial (1864-1929) was
known to friends as Walter Gorn Old. His early days were as a
Theosophist. Leaving them, he associated for a time with Alan Leo's
gang and wrote numerous books on astrology. An astrologer,
clairvoyant and occultist, towards the end of his life he became a
charismatic Christian. He had a lifelong interest in horse racing.
His translation of La Volasfera was first published in 1898.

AstroAffirmations offers 366 astrological mantras - one for every
day of the year - designed to empower, to uplift, to inspire and to

both a daily and birthday affirmation for each of the 366 days of
the year, setting you up for the day ahead, allowing you to be your
best self and to live your best life.
Thousands of years ago, people first observed a correlation between
the heavenly bodies and events on Earth. Out of these early
observations and subsequent refinements came what today is known as
astrology. For most of these millennia, astrologers used only the
seven visible planets: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and
Saturn. It is out of this tradition that Helena Avelar and Luis
Ribeiro have written this extensive book on astrology. The rules
and principles here presented apply to all branches of astrology
natal, mundane, horary and elective. Their method is the
traditional and time-honored one, and includes, among others,
chapters on: The PlanetsThe Zodiac and the SignsThe Essential
DignitiesThe HousesThe AspectsChart DynamicsThe Condition of the
PlanetsThe Fixed StarsThe PartsThe Power of the PlanetsUsing this
traditional method, it is possible not only to thoroughly and
completely read the natal chart but to do so with a breadth and
depth of meaning not found in the modern methods of astrological
interpretation. It avoids cookbook-type methods and centers on the
practical understanding of the astrological concepts, presenting
the Tradition in present-day language. In addition, more than two
hundred fifty illustrations make the traditional principles easy to
understand and use in chart interpretation. This practical how-to
book is one of a kind, and the one that will teach you the
traditional methods and you reach into the past to benefit from the
knowledge of the authors and astrologers from ancient Babylonia
through the medieval period. It is suitable for both beginners and
advanced students, as it provides the indispensable core of
astrological knowledge, at the same time allowing more experienced
students to organize their knowledge into a coherent system.
Your Stars: What to Expect in 2018 is a fresh and vibrant
astrological “year ahead” book with a distinctively local flavour.

zodiac with a general overview of the themes of the month, as well
as a specific in-depth look at what’s happening on the personal and
professional front. The predictions focus on helping the reader
understand the main issues monthly in 2018 while providing a
strategy to be conscious of pitfalls and guidance towards a more
favourable outcome. Your Stars targets a wide, cross-gender
audience as it not only probes the usual relationship-focused sun
signs, but also includes political and social forecasts, as well as
looking at the performance of various national sports teams during

includes a compelling introduction as a way to understand how and
why this science works that will appeal and make sense to the
twenty-first century reader.
