Jean Haines says: 'I hadn't realised this was a problem, finding a table easel of this size, until I returned to Europe and started teaching watercolour courses there. Artists attending my courses repeatedly asked me where they could buy an easel like mine. I tried sourcing one unsuccessfully. Jackson's came to the rescue and created one with measurements as close to my old easel as possible and now everyone who wants one can buy a table easel at a great price just like mine! Yes, there are many easels available on the market but mine is light, easy to carry but more importantly takes the paper sizes I create on perfectly. Other easels are too small, only taking smaller size paper which isn't really how I work.' Measurements of it closed flat for storage or transport: 53cm (W) x 48cm (H) x 8.5cm (D) Measurements of it open: 53cm (W) x 72cm (H) X 48cm (D) Maximum height of board it will take: 60cm Jean Haines’ is a world renowned watercolourist whose loose and expressive style combines techniques from the East and the West. Having learnt brush control in China and having adopted a vibrant colour palette from her time in Pakistan and India has led to her watercolours having a spontaneous, bright and individual style. Because of Jean Haines unique and accomplished style many of the best manufacturers have designed special products to meet her needs and she has realised several very successful books.
