Annie grew up in a big, supportive family. She grew up happy and
confident with a strong faith in God. The darker side of the world
was never shown to her as a child, and as she grew into a bright
young woman, the darker side continued to remain hidden from her
view. When she earned a job at a nursing home, Annie felt lucky.
What a blessing to have a job that allowed her to help others on a
day to day basis
But soon, things went wrong at her new job. Suicides became
rampant among Annie s coworkers - women who had previously seemed
joyful and at peace. What could possibly cause such emotionally
stable women to take their own lives? When Annie meets her boss,
Benson, she begins to suspect he s behind it especially when she is
sexually harassed by this man who was supposed to be a guiding
force at The Lake View Hospital.
Annie soon learns of the darkness in the world. She learns that
bullying is not confined to playgrounds and schools; bullying
happens to adults, too, especially in the guise of sexual
harassment. Annie will not let Benson ruin her faith in the
goodness of people. With God s help, Annie will recover the lost
souls ruined by suicide. She will show them the light and save
herself in the process.
Drink deliciously and magickally with this exquisite compendium of
potent mystical beverages, with witchy wisdom from author Shawn
Engel and expertly crafted cocktails from mixologist Steven
Nichols. For thousands of years, witches young and old have
concocted mysterious potions to heal, to divine the future, to get
in touch with the energies of the planet-and just to have fun. In
this enchanting compendium of 40 drink recipes, mystical maven
Shawn Engel shares her thoughts on what to imbibe for power,
energy, and amusement. Written in tandem with the award-winning
cocktail writer and developer Steven Nichols, this collection
presents a broad range of drinks for every purpose. Whether it's a
trio of beverages celebrating the energies of the maiden, mother,
and crone (with notes of pomegranate, fig, and smoke respectively),
or an eminently sippable mint-based money magick brew for
prosperity, this book is a party with a purpose. Not only are these
drinks fun and shareable, they also contain ingredients with
ancient magickal significance. For example, the 'Keep it Hexy' is
not only a delicious vodka-based cocktail perfect for kick-starting
a memorable evening, it also contains black pepper to return a hex
to sender, sage to cleanse an evil eye, and blackberries for
protection. All recipes include energetic properties and plenty of
information about magickal ingredients and why they've been used to
address certain ills for millennia; some even come with invocations
and rituals to amplify their power.
"The guides, when they come, should bring great feelings of love.
This is the true indication that a high guide is present; there are
few else...The guides can only come in the space between two
thoughts - in that space between the in-breath and the out-breath,
that space that is the quiet pool or reservoir of the deep wisdom
within." - IAM IAM represents the wisdom in each of us, and is a
true teacher and friend. Written from a whole-brain perspective,
The Space Between Two Thoughts is profound and accessible to
individuals of all faiths and paths. With humor and compassion,
this text weaves over 70 healing transmissions with commentary,
dialogue, and easy to use Armchair Enlightenment exercises,
demonstrating that the spiritual and material planes are not
separate. What people are saying about IAM: "IAM's advice and
exercises have been very useful for my personal growth and mental
well-being." "IAM has made me realize that there truly is a higher
power, and it cares very much about every aspect of our lives, no
matter how small." "IAM tells us things about ourselves that are
really helpful and transformative in a way that no one else would
know. It gives us the clues or guideposts to help us transform and
evolve." A realization that I gained from IAM was the importance of
each person, each animal, every plant, every action, every moment.
We are all interconnected."
Baba Yaga's Book of Witchcraft is an exciting book of ancient
Slavic magical practices. In this book, you'll sit at Baba Yaga's
side and listen to her stories about the birth of the sun, the land
of the blessed ones, and the spirits that live right beside us.
More importantly, you'll learn the secrets of her magic crafts,
talismans, inscriptions, incantations, and rituals that will allow
you to discover your own Baba Yaga within. Each chapter develops
the fairytale of Vasylyna the girl who is sent to the frightful
witch and Baba Yaga herself narrates explanations of folk lore
represented in the tale. Author Madame Pamita completes each
chapter by sharing how to put the elder-witch's wisdom into
practice, with instructions for Ukrainian folk embroidery, weaving
wreaths from herbs, using magical poppets, and working with the
spirits of the forest, the hearth, and the sauna. With more than
fifty illustrations and a bounty of tips and information, this book
teaches you to embrace the beauty and power of these traditional
practices as you learn to reclaim your personal magic.
It is said the greatest love is that which exists between a student
and his spiritual teacher. In a bond through study, their hearts
and consciousness are awakened. As these two souls travel on a path
toward convergence, they carry the lineage of previous masters and
ignite the way for future generations of students. This book is a
rare glimpse of the relationship between Kabbalist Rav Brandwein
and his beloved student Rav Berg, the present leader of the
Kabbalah Centre. These 60 letters provide deep insights into the
loving spiritual lessons taught by Rav Brandwein. As their
involvement goes beyond spiritual studies to all aspects of the
practical material world, we discover Rav Brandwein was connected
with Rav Berg with all his soul and might. The letters are
presented without the filter of interpretation, allowing readers to
leave with answers -- and more questions -- and a yearning for
greater wisdom.

Ren Gunon (1886-1951) was one of the great luminaries of the
twentieth century, whose critique of the modern world has stood
fast against the shifting sands of intellectual fashion. His
extensive writings, now finally available in English, are a
providential treasure-trove for the modern seeker: while pointing
ceaselessly to the perennial wisdom found in past cultures ranging
from the Shamanistic to the Indian and Chinese, the Hellenic and
Judaic, the Christian and Islamic, and including also Alchemy,
Hermeticism, and other esoteric currents, they direct the reader
also to the deepest level of religious praxis, emphasizing the need
for affiliation with a revealed tradition even while acknowledging
the final identity of all spiritual paths as they approach the
summit of spiritual realization. Studies in Freemasonry and the
Compagnonnage is both an attempt to rediscover the lost roots of
Masonry and a fascinating look into the many controversies swirling
around the subject of Masonry in serious intellectual circles
during the first half of the twentieth century. It must also be
classed, along with Symbols of Sacred Science, Spiritual Authority
and Temporal Power, Traditional Forms and Cosmic Cycles, The
Esoterism of Dante, Insights into Christian Esoterism and Insights
into Islamic Esoterism and Taoism-not to mention related sections
in many of his other books-as one of Ren Gunon's masterful
excursions into esoteric myth, symbolism, and secret history.
Freemasonry may indeed be, as Gunon ultimately concluded, a largely
degenerated and thus no longer strictly 'operative' offshoot of a
true initiatory lineage; yet its symbolism, like that of the
original Rosicrucians, remains profound, traditional, and therefore
ultimately legitimate. And given that the 'Spirit bloweth where it
listeth', it is always possible that symbolism of this order may
awaken in a receptive soul intimations of the Truth and the Way,
which can be of inestimable of value in 'the path to the Path', the
quest for a living initiatory spirituality.
