Due to incriminating evidence and prime motivation, Kimble is wrongly convicted for murder. However, on his way to death row he is involved in a spectacular train crash that precipitates his escape. Kimble then strives to prove his innocence whilst staying one step ahead of the dogged US Marshal Sam Gerard.

Firewall (2006)
Jack Stanfield is an average family man in Seattle who heads up the hi-tech security team at his local bank. But following a seemingly trivial case of identity theft, Jack's life is turned upside down when his wife and two children are kidnapped. The ransom is $100 million which the kidnappers, led by Bill Cox, want Jack to obtain for them via his expert computer skills. Initially compliant, Jack is soon irked by Cox and his cronies to the point where he decides to risk everything to get his family back and bring the bad guys to justice.

In 1945, having been spotted by a scout, Robinson is signed by Brooklyn Dodgers general manager Branch Rickey and becomes the first black man to play in the Major League. Despite his talent, Robinson is met with opposition, even from his fellow players, because of his race. As he tries to keep his own frustrations in check, he excels in his sport and gradually receives the recognition he deserves.

Sean Penn, Javier Bardem and Idris Elba star in this action thriller directed by Pierre Morel and adapted from the novel by Jean-Patrick Manchette. Jim Terrier (Penn) is an ex-military contractor with post-traumatic stress disorder who hopes to leave his past behind him and settle down with his long-term partner. However, to escape the organisation he used to work for he must go on the run across Europe in an attempt to clear his name. Will he succeed? The cast also includes Mark Rylance, Ray Winstone and Jasmine Trinca.

Academy Award-winning historical drama starring Benedict Cumberbatch as British codebreaker and computer scientist Alan Turing. The film follows Turing from his teenage years to his wartime work and the trouble he later faced in his private life. Along with his friend and colleague Joan Clarke (Keira Knightly) and the rest of his team at the Government Code and Cypher School in Bletchley Park, Turing races against time to decipher the Nazi's Enigma machine during World War II. Despite playing a significant role in helping Britain defeat Germany, Turing is later convicted of homosexual acts and suffers greatly in his personal life as a result. The cast also includes Charles Dance, Mark Strong, Matthew Goode and Rory Kinnear. The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Actor (Cumberbatch) and Best Director, and won for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Sci-fi thriller directed by Wally Pfister and starring Johnny Depp. Dr. Will Caster (Depp) is one of the leading scientists in the world due to his pioneering work in creating sentient artificial intelligence. A triple bill of sci-fi cops. The first film, 'Robocop', is set in the near future and Detroit's soaring crime rate is unsuccessfully policed by a corporation which plans to build a new city, if its workers can go about unmolested. When its new 'enforcement droid' proves unworkable, a murdered cop (Peter Weller) is wired into a computer-controlled titanium body and set to the task at hand. Unimpressed, 'Robocop' seeks vengeance on all sides in this violent but often funny tale. In the second film, 'Robocop 2', a new model, Robocop 2 (Tom Noonan), is built while Robocop 1 still patrols the streets of Detroit. Robocop 2 is given a maniac's 'soul', thereby setting the stage for a showdown between the two computer constables. Finally, in 'Robocop 3' Robocop is befriended by a young girl whose parents have been killed, and after his partner is killed by the head of a private security firm, he joins a group of rebels to fight back against the evil businessmen. There is a notable fight sequence between a plastic-like robot Ninja and the sluggish metal Robocop, which, together with the rebels hiding out in the derelict General Motors Factory, constitutes a thinly veiled critique of the Japanese car industry from the heart of Detroit - the original motor city.

In director Neil Jordan's vampire thriller a mother and daughter struggle to hide their bloody secret from their adopted community. Having survived for over 200 years, itinerant single mother Clara (Gemma Arterton) and her daughter Eleanor (Saoirse Ronan) are offered shelter at the down-at-heel Byzantium guest house when they arrive at a rundown seaside resort. Whilst her cold-hearted mother plies her trade as a prostitute to keep their heads above water and indulges her bloodletting at any opportunity, Eleanor wrestles with keeping her secret from her latest love, Frank (Caleb Landry Jones). But when the truth finally spreads its way through the local population, the arrival of two strangers belonging to an all-male vampire sect known as 'The Brotherhood' heralds a reckoning neither woman is prepared for.

Tense financial drama with a twist starring Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon.
