Blend with French Ultramarine to create forest shadows or with Burnt Sienna and Burnt Orange to produce warmer toned greens. Sap Green can be lifted with knife to form blades of grass of with a sponge to create natural looking textures.
Rose of Ultramarine (PB29 PV19) is a purple hue in which the blue settles and the rose lifts. This separation gives a colour a multi-dimensional quality that self-mixed purples struggle to achieve. This product is particularly effective when juxtaposed with Phthalo Blue.
Raw Umber Violet is a deep burgundy-brown colour. This product is unique to Daniel Smith as is the result of a blend of Raw Umber and Quinacridone Violet.
