This is a natural flower honey solution made to a traditional recipe. A small amount added to watercolour paint enhances shine, increases the colours' transparency and brightness, improves adhesion and helps the brush stroke control.

This medium is excellent in improving the elasticity of the paint layer and does not affect tone colour.

If added to the colour it dries to be waterproof.Avoids dissolving of colour when painted in several layers and allows more possibilities for transparent painting. To be used for water-colour painting instead of water. Attention: Do not mix medium + colour in the pan. Clean brush and palette thoroughly with water and soap immediately after use.

Liquid, colourless gum emulsion for masking specific fields, which should remain white, on water-colour paper, smooth drawing carton, photographs or films. Apply undiluted with writing pen, cotton or wooden stick. To be coloured only after drying. Rubs off easily with finger or eraser. Do not leave liquid frisket longer on the grounding than 2 days. Remove completely as soon as possible. According to paper quality is slight yellowing possible.

Clean equipment immediately with water and soap.

Close bottle properly and avoid frost.

Schmincke Aqua Watercolour Lift-Off Medium is applied to watercolour paper before it is painted upon to allow dried colour to be removed, modified or corrected. It is especially useful for watercolours that stain easily which ordinarily would be difficult to remove. The medium must be applied before colour is applied. If you are using very soft, textured watercolour paper the medium will need to be applied purely, for papers which have a stronger sizing the medium should be thinned with water. Testing on a small area/scrap bit of paper before use is recommended. As the Lift-Off Medium dries to a water-insoluble film, it should not be mixed directly with watercolour paint in pans. This medium allows dilutions to hold higher concentrations and guarantees that the paint will adhere perfectly to the surface, even when highly diluted.

This solution also increases the gloss and transparency of watercolours. Gum Arabic also helps slow down the drying time of paint, giving you more time to work with your washes.

For various surfaces like canvas, painting boards, wood etc. May be tinted with tube water-colour or acrylics. To be applied with a spatula. Start painting with water-colour after drying. Clean spatula with water immediately after use.
