This volume presents seventeen ostraca and two jar labels from the
Egyptian Museum of Cairo with transliteration, translation and
commentary. All were discovered during Davis and Carter's
excavations in the Valley of the Kings, and interpretive remarks
explore the relationship between the finds and the locations and
spread of workmen's huts in the valley.
