Elisa Montes, a radio presenter, battles guilt for not believing in
the threats posed by a parricide. Alonso Marquina is a police
inspector devastated by his wife's suicide and his daughter's
disdain. Marcos Galvan, a young messenger, disillusioned and weak,
is a sleepless reader of the Bible. The lives of these three will
become intertwined by fate and a righteous will disturbed. Above
them, a series of chain murders threatens their city, committed by
Denis, who is allowed the luxury of announcing this before the
night of Elisa's program, 'The smile of the moon'. Behind every
death, there is no apparent connection except delirium, which is
believed to be divinely chosen to condemn the sins of others. With
each crime, each radio broadcast, the ghosts of all three
characters are surfacing, from within their own closets of
existence. Only the tenacity of the three leads to the agonizing
end, which can only be reached after everyone has bared their souls
to the readers.
