The Night Has a Thousand Eyes is the first book with a sequel about
the coming-of-age of the main character, Tyler Morgan, from his
humble beginnings in Bedford/Stuyvesant and Brownsville in
Brooklyn, New York, to his ascent from the bowels of the
"underbelly" world of crime to his amazing success on Broadway and
the world. There are many twists and turns Tyler Morgan encounters
on this journey, but he always seems to be able, as was his younger
brother Tony, to land on his feet, just like a cat in the night.
Starting, ending, and reinventing his life as he makes his journey
to reach the goals he truly believes he is capable of achieving. He
uses as his living mantras the old sayings, "It ain't over 'til the
fat lady sings" and "When in life you are given lemons, make
lemonade "
