Montval® paper was designed by the famous painter Gaspard Maillol, nephew of the sculptor Aristide Maillol, and manufactured by Canson® at his request in the early 20th century. Since then, this paper has acquired new qualities.
One of them is its great erasability: corrections can be made easily, cleaning the paper with water, using a sponge or a brush. There is no trace of watercolour left and the paper can be worked again.
Easy to use, it is accessible and suitable for everyone.

Canson® Montval® is also available as a book. With its hard cover and elegant elastic band closure, it is the ideal companion to enhance one's creativity when travelling. Its interior storage pocket is ideal to keep the most precious memories.
