"Remember When" presents a nostalgic view of the history and
cultural heritage of Elberton, Georgia. Carolyn's keen interest in
the history of Elbert County led her to write local history stories
for the Elberton Star. Over the years, she has assembled an ample
collection of historical and genealogical books, articles and
various other documents, along with conversations and interviews
with long-time residents from which she draws her thoughts. This,
her first book is based on the stories and research coming from
these sources and is presented here in her delightful, homespun
storytelling style where her Christian beliefs and devotion often
shine through. Carolyn says, "It has been a joy to spend quality
time, after retirement, doing something I thoroughly enjoy."
