Abraham is one of the central figures of faith for Judaism,
Christianity and Islam. This interfaith elementary school material
enables a dialogical acquaintance with the ancestor of the
Abrahamic religions. The special feature of this work is the
cooperation of an evangelical pastor with an imam in the
representation of the figure of Abraham. It is presented as a
cross-religious and religious connection. The booklet consists of
three parts: Part 1 tells the story of Abraham both according to
the Judeo-Christian model and the tradition of the Koran. Part 2
offers additional image and working material for copying. Finally,
part 3 gives theological remarks and pedagogical suggestions as
well as references to the curriculum for each story.
