Times were harsh and conditions were poor. By the time Claude turned sixteen, both his parents had died from the harshness of a third world country. Claude was the oldest of 6 siblings: 4 boys, 2 girls.

Claude Chan writes his amazing life story of how he endured the hardships of getting an education and eventually becomes a medical doctor.
