Ward, who passed away due to cervical cancer at the tender age of
25. Author Curtis Walker outlines her life story while focusing on
his many visits with Carli in her final months of life, spent at
Grace Hospice in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Born in Saint John,
New Brunswick, Carli had a difficult childhood as she moved across
the country before settling in Manitoba. She was diagnosed with
Asperger's Syndrome at a young age and persevered through many
challenges on her way. Carli was truly one of a kind and her loss
was deeply felt by all who knew her.
